Wow it's so cool hearing how your voice has changed over the years! I went back and listened to older episodes. Your voice was kinda more classically "nerdy" or pinched and nasally. But now it's much more relaxed and emanating from your chest rather than your sinuses, very cool to hear the progression ❤

I really enjoyed these. This author has experienced and really thought about poltergeists and minutely dissected what they do and how they do it. He strives to find answers to questions about them and does a damn good job of it.

32:00 area... I imagine most stuff (if actually taken... which can be easily debated) is just in a weird spot. There are hundreds of little spots that one will never see. Doesn't matter if you live there. You don't live in the crawlspace attic that you never go in. If you go in and go all the way to a corner no ones been to since the house was made... hidden over in the insulation... under the house in the crawlspace over where a person can't fit. In the walls. In the vents. Places that will never be seen until the house gets demolished. And even then it will only be in pieces when it is. And that's still if anything is even missing at all. I suspect most of it is people just losing shit and instead of them admitting to themselves they're absent minded and losing shit they think they're a "dark witch" who has superpowers. Lol. I think 98% of stories people tell are just that. Stories. They want to feel special and like they're "different" from everyone else. And that's the only thing they can think of because actual talent is apparent. So they do the George Castanza (from Senfield) thing. "It's not a lie if YOU believe it."

@@thurayya8905 Because... 99% isn't 100%. Some are bound to be true. Even statistically.

@thurayya8905 There are some where my skepticism won't let me believe it because of how they write it. If they are writing it like they're writing a book for example. Ya know... heavy use of metaphor and similie. Being really dramatic on describing the smallest things. When they do that, they just want someone to hear the scary story they made up, but they don't want them to know that they made it up. They aren't writing it like a normal person who just witnessed something crazy. Unfortunately there is a lot of that. There are certain ones that ring true to me and I listen for those. I like when those happen.

"Read my book blah blah hellhouse. Read my book blah blah blah hellhouse. By the way did you read my book the blah blah blah blah hellhouse.... did you read my other book blah blah blah part blah blah blah." This whole episode was just bad. I don't blame M... but when he read all the "read my books" shit I wish he would have skipped it.

At least, this man is a professional writer, which made a very pleasant change from teenagers who skipped English class.

By the way, he wasn't saying, "Read my book." What he was saying was "If you want the full explanation of why I believe this, read my book."
