Me and my friend did it last year for the first time. We ended up staying at an airbnb in the middle of nowhere. When I tell you we were scared shitless after it became dark out. We didnt even step outside to look at all the stars since there was barely any light pollution. Felt like something was gonna come out the dark at us. Any little sound set us off, and at one point, something big banged into the side of the airbnb, we still don't know wtf it was. I don't think I'd feel comfortable even if there was 10 people trying to stay in the woods XD

I like the long format a lot; I am cleaning my office and making a shopping list while listening and watching some. Story 3 and other "answering the door when no one should be ringing your doorbell" stories make me want everyone to get a doorbell camera. I mean, yikes. Story 6: "Why would the same guy come back when he knew I was alone?" Hmm...I could think of a couple of really-not-nice reasons. I hope the author of the story has acquired some street smarts since this incident.

Your narration is great! But, the number of people in these stories who lack common sense and a sense of survival is amazing. Not locking doors, telling strangers personal information, opening the door without checking the peephole or asking who's there...these people were lucky more than anything. Because instincts and their brain did not play a factor.

It amazes me how many people leave themselves defenseless against whoever may want to do them harm or rob them. Have you noticed the police arrived after the threat in most cases? Everyone should have a firearm whether you're camping or home and be responsible with it. I've been happy to be armed twice in my life, although I've never had to fire it. You have to have a plan, when are you going to shoot? Make that decision before you come to that cliff, stick with it and you will be safe as you can be. Long story short some guys chased me to my truck ( I'm female 5ft. 1 ) I made the decision if they break my window I'm firing they didn't, and I didn't. They didn't even know I was armed, a ranger happened by.

People do and say the exact thing to get them into problems. I hope if these stories were true, lessons were learnt by the tellers, if made up, I hope lessons were learnt by the listeners.(these people love to open doors and talk to people and go outside and look around, hell no, I am not opening any door at all! lolz) Story #7,, said the second time he heard the knock , he had learnt his lesson from the first time, and he placed the chain on the door before opening. I almost fell over my chair laughing! I thought he was going to say he didn't open the door but looked through the window or something.😅😅😅

Never thought I was compatible with these dogs, but after Jake landed in our home in 2020, I can't imagine life without him now.. He's the fastest dog on the beach, for sure. He was 1 1/2 when he met the grandkids, so we were concerned ....but needlessly. Those are HIS KIDS! We've only had bigger dogs ( St.Bernard/ Mastiff/ Rottweiler), and Jake certainly has so many strange quirks compared to them, but wouldn't trade him for anything ❤️

story number 3 is really interesting. well written with a weird, twist ending. as the little pools of water on the floor were described i could picture it perfectly in my mind. well done by whoever wrote it. when the roommate came home were they asked if they had any enemies? the perp could ppossibly be discovered just by checking out the roommates past. cool story. it freaked me out.
