This study-with-me is so realistic it comes with students who came to the library to chat instead of doing actual work 😭😭

That’s one serious study grind! I don’t think I could ever pull off such a feat myself. Also your dedication to editing this massive video is just as impressive as the study grind!

Hey Jason, Hope you're doing well! Just wanted to drop a quick note to say thanks for all the awesome videos you've put out. They've been super helpful for me in making decisions about university. I've actually decided to study engineering at Western University because of your videos, and now I'm looking for a new laptop. I've seen you use a Mac in your vids, but I've heard mixed things about whether it's good for engineering (like many software are not compatible with macOS). Wondering if you could share your thoughts and experiences on that? Thanks a bunch for any help you can give!

Hey, thank you for your question and I’m glad you liked the vid! As a content creator I have a bias towards Apple products. However, a MacBook isn't preferred in Engineering because there are several engineering apps that only run on Windows, like SolidWorks, Microcap, and LabView. So if you could only get one laptop, I would highly recommend going with something Windows. However, it is indeed possible to run Windows via Window's Parallel and run *some* of the engineering apps, but not all of them. In the case that you can't run an app on your Mac, you could use a school computer lab for those times. I personally also have Window gaming laptop that I bought for just Engineering that I almost never use until I really need to, so that’s my backup. In my opinion, I believe touch screen Windows laptops (with decent specs) where the screen can flat on itself with pen support would probably be the best laptops for engineering students (but not Surface Pros or Surface Books because they tend to just literally stop working for no reason). I don't personally have one, but the Asus Zenbooks seems to fit the bill. I hope this helps!

@@JayCity Hey Jason, thanks a ton for getting back to me! Your advice is super helpful, and I appreciate you being honest about the MacBook limitations for engineering students-that’s exactly what I was worried about with the software compatibility. I’m so used to macOS that I feel like switching to Windows will be hard, but I’ll definitely check out some Windows laptops with the specs you mentioned. The Asus Zenbook sounds like a solid choice, so I’ll start looking into that. Thanks again for all the help!

I have been working as a call center agent for more than a year now since I graduated college in 2023. I may have been redirected to a longer and more difficult path, but I've decided to come back and become a civil engineering board exam topnotcher in our country. I will get it in 2025. Bruh if you are gonna use a recording rewind for the break, make sure the background noise is clean and does not contain the woman repeating "That's f***** up"..

Bro, how can you keep the same posture for such a long time. Be comfortable, stretch your arms and legs often.
