Hi Jenn!! What do you think of Yunlin? What would be your advice to someone who intend to move to Taiwan and settle in Yunlin? Thanks for your videos
@LayersOfJenn Жыл бұрын
My advice would be get a scooter or some kind of transportation bc I don’t feel the bus system there is that good. I was into there for a bit but the people seemed nice! I don’t drive here in Taiwan so living there would be a big struggle for me. Great for others who can drive!

Besides shaved ice/kakigori in Japan, I also wanted to try its unique brown sugar shaved ice in Yunlin (雲林), when traveling to Taiwan again in the future. Also, we just had two typhoons in Hong Kong, one from last week, while the other was from this Tuesday to Thursday, which I ended my Tuesday afternoon university class early.

It would be really useful if you can ask someone to type out the Chinese names for the different places, like eg Chenglin Agarwood Forest Museum, because this is Taiwan, plus it adds an authentic feel. I'm sure many Chinese(includes Taiwan, China, Singapore, Malaysia etc) audience of your show would appreciate it. I'm sure with this simple move, you would gain more subscribers & more views of your videos.
@LayersOfJenn2 жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you for the suggestion. I have actually stopped subtitling my videos unless they are important or sponsored videos. It was taking a toll on my mental health so, I’ve stopped doing it for the most part. Thank you for your understanding 🙇♀️ Most of my videos have added subtitles if you click CC.
@venterdinobee7822 жыл бұрын
@@LayersOfJenn Thanks for responding, as I had encountered KZbinrs who just kept silent on my suggestions. I don't mean subtitling the videos, I mean just adding Chinese names beside the English names of the places you had labelled on the screen, that would make a deeper impression on us, as the names in English may not be meaningful, but in Chinese there's a meaning. Plus, those who are going to travel to Taiwan after watching your videos would remember the places more if they learn the Mandarin names, because these are pasted at the places, but not the English names, I believe. Even Hong Kong people can understand Mandarin also, as Cantonese spoken words are using Chinese writings. Many people would appreciate this measure.
