@@BreezeWithTaywhat no? Strip clubs pay the driver for dropping of people at the door. It's like a commission for giving them business, Between $40-$150 a person! He dropped off 4 guys to one club the other night and on top of the regular fare was paid $520 by the club. A single 10 minute trip nets $520. that's how much some people make a week, he did it in 10 mins. Now you have to cherry pick your rides though. Only accept rides that are going to weed shops or strip clubs. Every club is different some pay more then others. Some only pay if you drop off men. It's a real thing look into it. Very very lucrative if you can make it work.

People who don't know how to properly set the pick up spot, should have gps location service turned on and give the app access to location data.
@b_eanie4 ай бұрын
how can you order a car and not know where you are to be picked up? its ludicrous
@MJSmithGroup4 ай бұрын
@@b_eanie Couple reasons. Most people can't read a map and have no clue which way is NSE or W. Many people just use the "use my location" feature and assume it'll get it right. Most of the time it's close enough to work. But often it's not. Usually when someone is inside a building. In downtown dense areas, it usually gets the building right, but it's nearly random which side of the building the app will put the pickup spot. Inevitably leading to the rider sending the "i'm here, I don't see you" message. In residential areas, if the houses are on small lots, it's not unusual for the app to think the rider is in the house behind and it sets the pickup on the next street over. At many big event venues that have a "designated" rideshare pickup location, uber actively blocks the rider's actual location icon and blocks the rider's ability to manually set the pin.

see here is yet another example of drivers who put no thought or strategy into what they are doing and take basically every trip that comes up. either out of some misinformed fear that they will get in trouble if they dont have a high acceptance rate, or that they will get some kind of bonus from uber and make more money if they do when neither is true at all. judging from the trips this guy is taking, he is averaging under a dollar a mile which incredibly most drivers think is good when its actually god awful. i average about 2.50 a mile give or take because i refuse to take any trips under $2, my acceptance rate is about 10% and i still average over $20 an hour consistently. it also helps i know every inch of the strip with my eyes closed right down to how big the speed bumps are at different hotels and which traffic lights on the strip are longest and shortest, i can name every casino in order from north to south and back and I really know what im doing but yeah its as simple as that. now maybe i can get away with it because i drive in vegas and in smaller markets maybe $2 isn't feasable because there aren't enough trips to be that picky but make it like $1.50 or something then. stop settling for this .85 cents a mile trash. a dollar a mile in a city like vegas, you have to basically try to suck that bad. my first week with lyft i went along with it and accepted every ride to see what would happen, did what i was told and still got 1.60 a mile so how are you people in vegas averaging way less than that when you get the same exact trips i do in the same city? if drivers like this simply stopped accepting all
@parkjungmoon6942 ай бұрын
lol theres no way you make $25 an hour, not consistently, i am obviously way better and smarter than you at this. not trying to brag but i am almost certainly in the top 1, 2% of drivers when all is considered between my knowledge of the area, driving skills, personality, entertaining passengers etc, and there is no way somebody making under $1 a mile is gonna out earn me on a consistent basis, i dont even make 25 an hour anymore because its just not what it used to be and the money isn't there like it was so you definitely don't.

@@BlakeDrives I would say you need to deduct the gas, oil change, insurance, carwash, maybe extra for phone service... everything that's you are spending for doing rides, and the most importnant, depreciation of the vehicle. That's why new cars for uber is very bad idea because the vehicle depreciate drastically or if you drive high millage car, you will risk end up with a lot of repairs $$$$$ but less depreciation. So anyway, it's very hard to see in the begginning but in the end, you will notice. This video is a waste of time that provides little valuable information. The driver aimlessly drives around Las Vegas picking up short Uber rides, filling up gas, and getting lost trying to find passengers. There are no real insights or takeaways, just mundane footage of an average day driving rideshare. The creator tries to make it seem exciting by pointing out expensive cars and houses, but it's really just filler content. You're better off skipping this one - it's 8 minutes of your life you won't get back. The key message seems to be "look how boring and uneventful driving Uber in Vegas is." Don't expect to actually learn anything useful about the strategies, economics, or experience of being a rideshare driver. It's pure fluff.
