V8 engine, made by a engine tuning shop. Iirc parts of the engine are the same as they use in the Hyundai inline 4 WRC engines which is made by the same people.

It wasnt never flat I wish Hypercars were 100KG lighter and smaller. They look more like downscaled GT cars which I personally dont really like. But we get more competition which is great and a nice trade off
