Small nitpick but Otto Hightower was actually the hand of THREE kings. He was briefly the hand of the Old King (Jaehaerys I) at the end of his life.

It makes me so mad that Hollywood and the rest of the entertainment world continue to erase women over 40 from roles where they would be seen as sexually appealing. Why couldn’t they have found an older actress?
@lkrnpk
@lkrnpk Ай бұрын
@@user-hg3iv5hy3s yeah Fabian Frankel (Cole) is also just 30, they easily could have had two early 40 somethings and still show the romance/sex, like Cersei and Jaime... they did not pretend there. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was around 40 at the time and Lena Headey at least in late 30s - which worked as Joffrey was the age that she could have had a child at. I suppose they didn't want to do another actor change in HOTD though. Jace and Rhaenyra also do not work age wise, although there is a but bigger age difference

Sometimes casting a 27yo to play a 20yo can work. And sometimes, casting a 28yo to play a 34yo can work. What doesn't work is when those two are supposed to play son and mother. In House of the Dragon, I see Alicent and Helaena together and I don't even think they look related, let alone that one is the mother of the other.
