Wanted by Night was one of my very first full bottle designer purchases….and it’s soooo good. I get the biggest compliments on this one, still a no brainer pick up

Nice list. I thought you would be listing Dior Eau Sauvage. Oh, well... It's iconic to me. Cheers!

Love the content! All solid choices. I love shock. ATHughes’ review of CK Shock is wild, not your average reaction, check it out if you haven’t already. Also, your 10:45 wrap up is great wisdom! Stay frosty 😊

I’m not a fan of Voyage, but I can’t deny it’s become a classic and is super popular here in tropical regions. Personally, it smells like plastic cucumber to me. I do appreciate synthetic notes that create something unique and abstract, like YSL Y or D&G K, but when they try to replicate a natural note and mess it up? That’s a no-go for me. On the other hand, CK Shock is fantastic. It gives off a warm, romantic vibe, you can wear it in a similar way to D&G The One, but it also has this fun, youthful energy and a bit of a mischievous side, which makes it stand out.

Versace pour homme is one of these fragrances that smell better to others than the person who wears it.

Prada Amber is going away. atleast according to Prada beauty US. I asked them why it isn’t being restocked and they said it’s being discontinued forever when I asked if it was temporary or not. Shame
@ScentsofStyle9919 сағат бұрын
Yes, so it's important to grab it when you can. The thing about discontinuation is that it'll take a few years for all remaining stock to be fully depleted. Most fragrances that were discontinued on a retail level come back to discounters at least a few times so if you're interested in it, it's good to keep an eye out.

Versace Homme is similar to Nautica but MUCH prefer the Versace. Nautica has a musk dry down that I hate and want to wash off half hour after I put it on.

FUN FACT! Versace pour Homme has Oud listed as an official note. Who would've thought?! 💫The more you know

I have to ask, why should we want the top fragrance releases of the past few years, much less the new hot fragrance releases? Personally I like the fragrances that smell good on me and that I, and my wife, like. I’m not chasing some trend or wanting to be a part of some popularity contest. I’m wearing Zirh Icon right now. I bought it 15 years ago at least and I doubt it was really popular then much less now, but it smells great and I like it. If something new smells great, then get it, but don’t get it because it’s hip and trendy and people tell you to buy it.

I have almost all of em. Almost. The only one one you are off by a mile here , actually 10 milles off is Creed - Milliseme Imperial ..Im not sure whas that about but its like saying Chevy Cruze is a classic car

The fact that there are so many clones of it and it's 30 years old tells me that most people see it differently, however, I gotta admire your passion on this point. It tells me you're as crazy about Fragrances as I am.

Prada Amber Intense is definitely not a "classic" since it has been discontinued and is NOT available on any US discounter sites... this was easy to lookout prior to recommending it as a classic.
@ScentsofStyle9920 сағат бұрын
First of all, it's current availability has zero reflection on its future availability. How long have you been into fragrances smart guy? I have purchased dozens of fragrances after they have been discontinued. Fragrances don't all of a sudden disappear once they have been discontinued and like Noir Ambre they can come back again and again. But most importantly, this channel is international and goes well beyond the US so current US availability is utterly irrelevant.
@GeorgeTanner119 сағат бұрын
@ 18 years friend. That fragrance is a goner in the US… making KZbin content based in North America should reflect what’s available now and Prada Amber Intense is not so that’s what I was alluding to. Another example, Prada L’Homme Intense is most likely discontinued but widely available so OK to recommend
@ScentsofStyle9915 сағат бұрын
I LITERALLY get 60% of my views from outside North America. KZbin analytics are very detailed and I could make a very good argument that I already overemphasize North America so the idea that I should exclusively produce content for 40% of my audience is ridiculous. As for discontinuation, I have been told dozens of times from a variety of people that Fragrance "A" has been discontinued only for it to pop up a few months later. I have also been told by numerous people that Fragrance "B" has been discontinued but it hasn't. I take all talk of discontinuation with a grain of salt although in this case, it does happen to be true, I would be shocked if it didn't show up again at some point. And hell, I even said discontuation was a possibility in the video and to keep your eyes open and you STILL gave me grief, because you just want to complain.

Nautica Voyage? I actually gave my bottle away to a homeless person. No offense. I just couldnt wear it. It smells like its mostly water. Smells cheap, and artificial..If you are young and broke I guess you can wear it. I snagged a bottle for $9 and instantly recognized why it was $9. Overall you get what you pay for.
@ScentsofStyle9919 сағат бұрын
I agree and that's why I have panned it a few times. I included it though because of its popularity among young men and it's also very popular still in tropical countries. It's also been around almost 20 years at this point and is still for sale which is quite rare.

@@ScentsofStyle99 I see your points. I mean overall for the price, you can do much worse for sure. I can see and share your view now. Thanks for the interesting content. Nice work. And btw I havent even tried the Prada Amber Intense. I have the original and love it. Its like spicy soap with that barbershop feel. When I first got into fragrances as a hobby (2017) I was trying to decide between Prada Amber Pour Homme and Prada Lhomme EDT. I chose Lhomme and instantly fell in love with it. A few months later I purchased Amber Pour Homme and fell in love with it as well. For some reason though I keep overlooking the Amber Intense.
@ScentsofStyle9914 сағат бұрын
I found the amber intense by accident and although I prefer it to Amber pour Homme, I'm not sure I like it more that Prada L'Homme. Sounds like you like Prada as much as I do. As for Voyage, I 100% share your views on the fragrance. I have raked it over the coals on a few occasions but I don't think it was meant for someone like me or for someone like you as well. Peace out!

I know I've said this before, but Obsession is as relevant today as it was in the 90's. Its scent profile conforms to today's sweet spicy trend. And of course, Cool Water ... Yes, oh yes.
