Ironic how there’s min salary cap for S-pass and E-pass for so called “workers” but no minimum wage salary for ordinary Singaporean jobs. Speaks A LOT for those aunties/uncles who work at hawker clearing tables for $7.5 ~ $10/h. Own citizens get chewed up bones while foreign workers get piece of a pie.

Forgot to Mention about the extra cost for Self Employed personnel as they have to top up their Medshield Life with cash. Its a scheme that force the whole population to pay for a smaller group. Do not be surprise if one day govt partner with Singapore Pool and force everyone to buy $5 4D per draw, yup, feels about right.

Overall i see a growth in demand to make cpf members deduct more of their earnings into cpf. I wonder who uses cpf as funds to invest? If investment suffer billions of losses, can the cpf have enough money to allow members to drawdown during retirement? Should we tighten the cpf so more will enjoy delayed drawdown as more younger people put in more money into cpf to enjoy long term lockup and interest?

They have been doing this giving out chicken wings then claiming back whole chicken stun for decades. So it is not even news or worth mentioning anymore. If a day they give out chicken and never ask back anything then it's news. Besides so many people always complain the same thing over and over, yet every GE come and go, still people did not put their vote to use. Action speaks louder. So don't make noise, instead just do it. You only got 1 chance every 5 years. But you may not have so many more 5 years being press harder and harder. Have you not wondered why the govt built so many multi-hundred-bed hospitals in the last 20 years, and regularly spend public money on advertisement campaigns to urge people to go for this 'health' screening, that 'health' scanning or the other 'health' testing, etc?? It is so that more and more people can be certified sick and be prescribed pharma meds for life, expensive surgery, various treatments, physio/psycho therapy, ward stays, doctor/specialist consultation fees, etc, etc. All to be deducted from Medisave. And mind you, majority of those doctors and healthcare workers are FTs. Yes, that money is still ours, until the govt takes it back via Medisave, housing and other public schemes. When we die, ALL of the balance CPF monies is supposed to go to our beneficiaries. But for many, many people, there is hardly anything left for their beneficiaries after substantial deductions have been made via Medisave and other public schemes.

Please make up your mind. You mention with higher CPF contributions, you get more since it’s still your money. But when pay using Medisave you put it down saying you fork out 0 cash even though you paid more using Medisave. For all I know, both CPF and Medisave it is still my money. The only conclusion I get is CPF gets more “cash” from me at the end of the day.

Aiya! This one u call high levy for foreigners, this amount prata mama shop also can employed s-pass or e-pass holder. PAP should do more to ensure employer employ s'pore first instead of employing ah mo, ah ney or ah nos( pinos). So many singaporean cannot find a job bcos employer want job experience, u think this foreigner got experince? They all come from kampung, outdated then us city ppl and yet we lose out to them. So my fellow s'porean is about time we send a clear message to PAP( to long already in power thats why complacent) either shape up or ship out and let the new generation opposition run the show afterall grandfather gone already, father also gone already so no more threatening singapore voters about singapore cannot float if PAP sinks but we are still floating n flying after 60yrs.
