I have in my two-story apartment that door that covers the staircase. Dad came up with it and installed it, a great idea that saves space on the floor, and there is no noise, the floors are soundproofed, the smells from cooking are not felt, the heating does not escape to the upper floor, great.

I made a secret door. It looks like a built in bookcase and you pull on a fake book to open it. I made it as the door to my daughter's bedroom. She loves reading and books, so it was as gift for her. I figured it could double as a panic room. But, on the bottom there is a cat door. It is hard to see while standing but her cat would probably walk out and give it away.

A lot of those bookcase ones I've seen don't have a way to open it once you close it when you're on the inside which is both dangerous and stupid because what's the point of having a secret room if you have to open the door every time you want to go in there and leave it open so you don't lock yourself in

Couches, fully carpeted and finished off, and there was even a little hidden door in there that went to his rooftop heat exchange fan, aka, the perfect spot to hit the bowl when it's a cold xmas party and you're snowed in for the night
