Marcus Denmon was a straight killer, especially with KU. Easily my favorite MU player of all time and this is his mother f**king Mona Lisa. He almost beat KU and the most incompetent refs ever a few weeks after this too with more ridiculous clutch shots. Even with the deep and dark depression that ensued after the Norfolk State Game, this was a great season and I loved this team (minus Steve Moore, obviously). Best game of any sport I ever attended. Really wish KU wasn't so butt hurt over our BIG 12 exit, especially since we did not start the whole damn thing, it was not our completely incompetent leadership that created it, and we didn't want to leave we absolutely had to in order to protect the University. We simply followed the obvious and completely rational path that was laid before us. Plain and f**king simple. Blame Texas for thinking anyone outside of Texas gives a s**t about them. They were greedy. Blame Nebraska for starting conference realignment. That school has no business being labeled a Big 10 program. Blame Colorado because somehow their irrelevant as**s got big ideas and F'd things up. Blame Dan Bebe for very poorly impersonating a conference commissioner. Just don't blame us babe, it wasn't we. Can we have the Border Rivalry game back now? I need to verbally assault some insufferably arrogant and irrational KU fans in order to feel our bball team is remotely relevant or interesting right now.

Great game from Mizzou. After that last Robinson dunk, by like 8 late in the game, I thought they had finally just run out of gas. But they put together a super gritty comeback worthy of being cheered on. It really is a shame the way You Mizzou fans had to feel to the reaction of the way Your season ended, but still, ending 30-5 with a first Year Coach is a great Accomplishment. the charge call on robinson was good. if you look closely at the 1:09:42 mark you can see #0 for kansas ramming into #32 for mizzou and knocking him over. There was definitely contact, so good call.

Personally, my favorite NCAA Tournament upset was in 2006 when George Mason (which has still been Popular since) went on Their winning spree eventually culminating by defeating a UCONN Team that was a Goliath that Season, into an amazing Final 4 berth. Even though Norfolk State was a 15 seed, and George Mason was an 11th seed, the Huskies were the Overall Number 1 seed in the Tourney, and for much of the Season. But, Everyone is invited to Their own Opinion. =) (VCU has a similar argument too.)

I'm a diehard KU fan, and the reffing at the Phog was very favorable to KU, but the two charge calls were horrible. The Taylor one was even worse than the Robinson one if you take into consideration - it's supposed to be a defensive foul UNLESS the defender's feet are set. Look at both charges, the feet weren't set on either. Should have been and one for T-Rob. And also, what up with refs getting all that momentum before calling the charge? Ridiculous.

Because Missouri's team during the 2011-2012 season was comprised of mostly guards. The tallest players Moore and Radcliffe were only 6 ft 8 and they were playing Center. Their team was basically playing small ball. Norfolk State was mostly big men so basically it was a matchup nightmare for Mizzou.

Bottomline, hell of a game, I was at Fox and Hound on Metcalf with about a $100 bar tab (just mine), when KU got up 8 with 2mins to go, i thought it was over.I def got my ballon popped and the needle was Marcus Denmon. Fucking Teahan had to talk shit to him after Coner hit that 3, bad mistake, Denmon just quietly put MU on his back and knocked them shots down.
