I like the fact that you regard the sweep to be a beginner technique.

It is a basic technique for Kumite I believe, but it takes years to master.

Yes sir you are on point. It is such a fundamental technique. When punches and kicks don’t work, sweeps are the wild card factor that can change the direction of the fight.

I love the sweep at the end. Sweeps to be seem underrated in the kumite. I think that's a good way to start a fight. I bet that'll throw off another beginner's focus LOL

I won second place and lost to a more experienced fighter 0-1. He complimented me and said I was clean and fast fighter. I owe my victory to you. Thank you sensei!

Im so sore right now been working on my tobi geris...I cant believe how I have progressed I thought I lost my leaping ability but I jus took baby steps and my leaping ability is coming back even as I age. But only through the art of repetition and practice. You are a true inspiration in my martial arts journey. It is amazing our bodies can do more than we think it can you just have to continue in the journey on the quest to seeking perfection though it never truly arrives.
