Wow Fernley has grown up. I lived in Fernley Nevada from 87 to 89. I moved to Lemoore California but when I lived in Fernley, there might’ve been 1200 people maybe and now it’s 25,000 it was very small town and when I moved to Lemoore, California, they only had the population of 8000 and now about 24,000. I became a volunteer firefighter for the city of Lemoore strictly volunteer no paid people on our department from the chief to the 34th man, none of his get paid we don’t stay at the fire house. We will respond from where we’re at straight to the files jump on the truck. Nevada had an air siren that used to go off every day at noon the city, I was a firefighter and had the same thing, but it was for fires, and you heard it I worked when I first moved there at the truck inn as a maintenance man by my understanding, it’s no longer there and then from there I went to work for B&C builders supply in Reno and I’m not sure if they are still there either once I left Fernley Nevada I never looked back. I got a bunch of troubles I had to leave Some very bad people were looking for me😂 I was only 23 years old and now I’m 60😊
