Very good video. For me, when an area is overflowing like an office, the answer is to declutter to fit the space, rather than add more storage. Most of our homes are overflowing with so much inventory.

I cut tassels on rug so they are very short and therefore look a lot tidier 😊

If there s a space outdoors you can turn your sheep skin rug wrong side up the dirt will drop off . You can dry clean it Good to be honest & humble in sharing your mistakes

Hey i did that with my lounges before i started bingeing on Baixu😂. I wasn't sure i liked the position, bit we feel pretty good sitting this way. Plus I think my lounges are very similar IKEA? I got mine for free LoL, they were like new LoL. I'm so glad there similar, means I'm on the way to good taste LoL. I thought about them mirror each other. One other thing about floors, stay away from high gloss floors. Every imperfection from sanding shows up. Mixed species fl9r boads can be an issue also when sanding. I'm considering vinyl planks/ tiles

The first big problem i ran into was getting a rug for my family room, only to find that since it's on carpet, it would just scrunch up and become a pain to constantly have to move furniture and reflatten... so I wound up putting the rug under the bed which is on hard wood, and just not using a rug on the carpet at all. But hey, live and learn ;)

I can't recommend enough an anti-slip rubber mesh to put under any slippery rugs.

We did the same thing in a historic House where the wood floors were very damaged even after Sanding.... deep stains. So we stained it black. It looked great. People loved it, but always getting Nicks hat we had to use a Sharpie permanent marker to fix Every few weeks or spot paint it-- and every single piece of dirt would show up. Also Is learned the hard way...Never buy a fringed rug.

Like you, I didn't like the yellowish/orangish tone of many original light oak hardwood floors, so I chose very dark colored wood floors that ended up showing every speck of dust or dirt! I was dust moping constantly. Now I go for the lighter colors, but I make sure they have a neutral or greyish (not blackish) cast in order to avoid that oaky look.

You need a not slip under rug for your ikea rug . Cut the carpet fringes very short . It will not bother you anymore .

Fur is awful because it’s cruel! Not because it’s hard to keep clean! Otherwise great video though thanks.
