​@@taylorshelafoe4241you can paint the covers, but the actual outlets will still be white. Painting them would create a huge fire hazard. It's really just easier to replace them if you want them to match. Also, only paint the covers after you've removed them off the wall. Getting even a speck of paint in the outlet can spark a house fire.

Can attest, cutting panels around outlets can be daunting. When in doubt, I break out a roll of wide trace paper and make a template!

I have the same outdoor fireplace in my living room and what I did is put a tabletop fireplace (safe for indoor use) as my insert. I gilded the chrome top to a distressed brass. Absolutely love it! Everyone who comes over loves it! Use it all the time🙌

@@lilianbraun6416 I didn’t add any extra tubing to mine. It does produce some heat but not enough to actually damage anything. Plus there’s no bad off gassing from the bio ethanol.
