Carol Chen It seems that overcrowded orphanages in China (and other places) combined with the unfortunate and totally incorrect belief that DS kids are not worth nurturing/ teaching etc is responsible for this baby's delayed development as much as anything. The miracle of love and hard work bore astonishing fruit here. To Patrick and your family, great big hugs from this stranger across the miles. All continued blessings to you and wonderful June.

+Jane Kinnie-Hout you are good. It is her way of communicating to us that she is not comfortable doing it and doesn't have the confidence in herself that she can do it on her own. She has never had anyone believe in her. Each step in this process has had that type of resistance at first. She eventually gains the confidence in herself that she can do it. You should see her practice now. No tears! She is even starting to take a few steps on her own.
