Im going to agree with you partially I think 3rd person may have helped in some instances and may be prevented some bugs. I dont feel my immersion was completely broken on my PC playthrough. ( 70 hours or so ) a few times but not completely but to each his own.

Some can be fixed if their engine is built on top of abstraction for components. But I do see some bugs caused by world segmentation before entering new segment or leaving the current which obviously goes really deep. Pretty much everything but the assets+scripts need rewrite. And there's a possibility all tool generated stuff to not be enough for rewrite. Well. . . Rip

Ubisoft has been on a nice roll lately on my view, Bethesda had great games outside of Fallout 76 I liked most of their stuff but Cyber easly better than Fallout 4 ( and to me more than 3 and maybe new vegas ) if you are playing on PC. And I liked Fall out 4 and 3 a lot. EA has hits or misses. so I would argue easly better than most of EA games.
