Most of the systems were unfinished before release, and after they removed some of them from the release version of the game, they didn't playtested how these systems work together. They just turned off the features, and didn't test the game how it plays without them. This game would've needed one more year of development and testing.

The number of design shortcuts these guys took to get this game out is astounding. 2D sprites. Cars damaging themselves when upside down. Police using gang AI. It's incredible. The only way to play this game and enjoy it is by having 1. a power PC and 2. do not, I repeat, do not poke around. Do what you need to do and stay within the tracks.

There's nothing wrong with enjoying the game as it is, but we still have to let the industry know it's not acceptable to fool us (for instance, saying the game runs really well in the base consoles, or hyping the "advanced cop system"). If we call out Bethesda, EA and Activision for it, why should we give CDPR a pass?
