Yes I also agree that Amish stretched the third book( the oath of the vayaputras) telling a lot about somras but I love Amish's book (he is my fav author)😁😁

A big fan of Shiva trilogy , Percy Jackson Original series and Circe. On the mythic fiction genre try checking Shatrujeet Nath's Vikramaditya Veergatha Series and Alexandra Bracken's Lore. Both are delight to read. Lore is what would be an adult version of Percy Jackson while Vikramaditya Veergatha is close to Amish's work with lesser philosophy and more action and world building.

Ooh Shatrujeet Nath's series is on my TBR! I read his latest book recently and was blown away. Can't wait to get started on Vikramaditya Veergatha series! 😊 Lore sounds super interesting too. Thank you for the recs! 😊

Draupadi is a central character in mahabharat, sorry but please get your fact right, she is not just a character in the background!
@TheMelodramaticBookworm3 жыл бұрын
First of all, I meant that Draupadi (and women during those times) were seen as not having anything to do when in fact they played huge roles. I was talking about a patriarchal perspective in which they ARE SEEN AS A BACKGROUND CHARACTER. Why would I push a woman character to the back? Please watch it and understand the context I said it in. And secondly, if you're putting out an opinion, the least you can do is be polite. You could have asked what I meant. You don't have to attack everyone on the Internet. :) Peace!
