The worst symptoms for me are the severe anxiety, random adrenaline rushes, off balance, and brain fog. My brain just doesn't work anymore. Every day i wake up in the morning terrified of what new symptoms I'm going to experience. I am aware this is a natural process but my GoD, why does it have to be this rough.

I've been in menopause for the last decade and other than the hot flashes easing up and the heavy periods are a thing of the past, most of the other symptoms remain. Unless you are doing hormone replacements, I don't know how things could ever go back to "normal" as our hormones are no longer working like they once did. Ugh. Such a bummer. That coupled with the normal aches and pains of aging can be quite disturbing on a daily basis. It's not for the weak of heart, that's for sure. :)

46 here and for the last 8 years I have had estrogen dominance. I got melasma 2 years back but the dermatologists refuse to listen. They are like oh you are not on birth control? My hormones were so high in my late 30's they told me I was in my second trimester pregnancy. I said I am not. I had to get tested for brain cancer and all kinds of things. Just wanted to share that estrogen dominance is a real thing. I used progesterone cream and I THINK it helped calm me but I didn't want to keep on the cream. The only reason I ever knew about estrogen dominance is researching online. I feel like doctors dismiss you if it is too complicated to figure out and no money to be made.

I can't get through to the professionals I talk to that what I have now is irregular for ME. I'm often still 28 days but there is way more instances of one to two day variances with it sometimes being as much as a week late. And that cycle of heavy, light, moderate is not longer valid. It has changed to anywhere from one day of bleeding to 10 days. And glad to be reminded a "normal" hormone test doesn't change the season of my life

My doctor refused to do anything about perimenopause for me, including referring me to the menopause clinic. Instead SHE decided that I needed to go on SSRIs despite my telling her I cannot take them, the clonidine for hot flashes, until it stopped working and I got the temperature disregulation symptoms, so she decided it was time for an antipsychotic that I also could not take. I had to go in and demand she put me on birth control since the gynaecologist and clinic she waited 2 1/2 YEARS to refer me to have an 8 and 18 month wait list and SUDDENLY she could magically prescribe me HRT that she’d been completely unable to prescribe to me the entire 2 1/2 years I’d been complaining about perimenopause symptoms. I can’t even get a new doctor because there’s a critical shortage here. I’m wishing my doctor triple the garbage I’ve had to endure because of her. I absolutely loathe going in to her.

I’ve had so many of the symptoms, but I was curious about one thing I’ve been experiencing lately. My legs seem to shake and feel weak at times and it’s sporadic. Could this also be a sign of low estrogen? I’m really hoping it is and that it’s nothing serious. I am going to see a neurologist in June to rule out anything major. Your expertise is greatly appreciated ❤ Thank you again! God bless you!
@KariAnneWright6 ай бұрын
Seeing the neurologist to rule things out is smart. It will alleviate some anxiety. Low vitamin d can also be a cause of weakness. When estrogen drops women lose a great deal of collagen and muscle mass and it can affect all of the joints, tendons, ligaments, muscles, bones etc and make middle aged ladies feel pretty horribly. Taking vitamin d, a good liquid collagen, magnesium and maybe b12 if you’re low, getting adequate protein and building muscle with strength training a few times a week can all make a big difference.

Yeah I have purity decaf sachets and teechino to try the dandelion blends in teabag form as I don't have a coffeemaker now teechino is teabag form waiting till I am done with biopsy and antifungal before trying. Did chicory make you have to pee a lot?
@joea.99696 ай бұрын
@@DareceMclean imo chicory is the devils weed! Idk about chicory coffee but when they put chicory in foods as a fiber source, it gives horrible gas bloating and upset tummy. So be warned lol.

I'm postmenopausal and still have lots of problems. Anxiety is probably the worst aches and pains too which liquid collagen do you recommend that doesn't have shellfish in it

I’ll leave you the link that will pull up the affiliate links(with discount codes attached) for the collagens I use. I use Trim and Biocell Skin, Hair & Nails. FYI there is an incredible sale starting tomorrow. The biggest sale I’ve ever seen and that’s counting black Friday. I’ll be posting about it shortly. msha.ke/kariannewright

Why liquid collagen? I use the powder. TIA
@KariAnneWright6 ай бұрын
Bioavailability! The liquid collagen I use is over 90% bioavailable. Powders are about 30% absorbable. The liquid collagen has brought my body wide discomforts down by about 60% so far. The powders never did anything much for me.

Question … can anyone tell me if this is a symptom. At bedtime i will have one evening a week on average i can not get warm for hours. It’s makes it difficult to fall asleep. I go to bed with many layers, and extra blankets. Usually around 1:30-2:00 am i am finally comfortable. Thank you for any feedback regarding this. 💞

Menopause can affect the internal thermostat. Thyroid issues can as well. I have times when I’m incredibly cold.
