Will shiny hunt a couple of Alolan Raichu when it's live. Just need Hisuian Sneasel to hunt shiny plus marked. Hope they give us that outbreak. The Hisuian Sligoo is a guaranteed Hisuian Goodra on evo so that's on the shiny hunt list as well.

I was not expecting any of this, but they were all a pleasant surprise. I want the Pokemon Company to continue this for fall/winter and heck even into next year. I doubt they would do something this crazy, but it would be kinda cool to get ‘hyped’ up for the 30th anniversary of pokemon red/green in Japan, they just said late this year, ‘hey, we’re gonna release 2025’s entire schedule for Tera Raid and Outbreaks’ and the Raids were Legendary Pokemon but with new and interesting Tera types, and a different generation for the Outbreaks with increased shiny odds for each like 5-6 weeks going from gen 1 in January to gen 9 in December. I’m not getting my hopes up for that at all, AT ALL, but I love this new approach to them releasing their schedule far in advance.

I'm glad that we're able to get more regional forms of other Pokémon in these upcoming events. We had the Hisuian starters as 7 Star Tera Raids, Hisuian Voltorb in Mass Outbreaks, received a Hisuian Growlith from Perin after completing her quest, and now Alolan Raichu and Husuian Sliggoo. Interesting enough, most of the regional forms are Hisuian

Ngl, I think it's really stupid of Game Freak to have made Gimmighoul have regular shiny rates. WTF were they thinking? Should have at least had an increase in shiny rates after the negative feedback they got when they first announced it during their Pokemon Presents.

I recently realized I had at some point unintentionally overwrote my spare profile's Gimmighoul event raids, so I'm very glad I'll soon have a way to hunt for the shiny again (still upset they're committed to releasing it this way, where most everyone will just join a shiny raid found by someone using a bot and date skipping to scan for shinies. Just let us hunt static spawns!!)

I am looking forward to getting to Shiny Hunt Alolan Raichu, also Bagon as I got Scarlet. I think that they should do a 7 star Ghimmighoul and guarantee it being shiny, but you can only catch one per save file, the odds for the GG raid were low and I never found one

Really hope they release an outbreak of Hisuian Braviary in the future. I've got this really pedantic thing about catching everything in Pokeballs, so I can't transfer in a shiny from Arceus. But this definitely solves the problem of hunting in Sun and Moon for Raichu and the Sliggoo is a very nice bonus!

Sharing my build from last time. If I remember correctly Pikachu shield starts turn 0. Meowscarada @ Shell Bell (maybe covert cloak for paralysis) Ability: Overgrow Tera Type: Grass EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Sp.Def Adamant Nature -Knock Off -Hone Claws -Flower Trick Turn 1-Die: Knock Off (Dying is SUPER important, staying for more than 3 turns screws up strategy/timing. I can't remember exactly but maybe something about stealing orb charge) Turn 4-6: Hone Claws (should be able to tera, if not then knock off till tera) Turn 7-end: Flower Trick IIRC this absolutely MELTS pikachu raid.

I would really love it if they would bring back the Cinderrace 7 star tera raid. It was not long after the release of the game and I never was able to catch it. It would be incredible if they would bring back the old ones and rotate one each day or something like that so that people like me can catch up those they missed.

(I wonder if they'll be getting new regional variant evolutions or megas?) Or the most wanted/anticipated 7* - Meowscarada, Skeledirge and Quaquaval - which will be super important because it will be the only time you can get the gen 9 starters in a different ball other than Pokeball! (Though this will probably be being saved for when the Nintendo switch is finally wrapping up its era if past events are anything to go by.)

I'd like to finish off the 7-star Starters collection, and possibly have a week of a re-release of all previous Starters in case you happened to miss one. That's probably Unaware Dondozo to prevent stat boosts. Debuffing it should work better. And that would be Inner Focus Dragonite to stop Intimidates in Solo Raids. Tera Normal so Rage Fist can't hit it. Belly Drum Drain Punches should work. Let's pray that they don't give it multiple turns for clearing stats.

Over the course of my base game journey I got 2 shinies from tera raids in my copy of Violet; 1st was a Tropius and 2nd was a Flapple, both came from 5* raids that I was doing for item farming. Nice little surprises.

It will be nice to snag Alolan Raichu with Gen 9 origin symbol, but beyond that most of this isn't too exciting for me. I love Dragonite, but at this point I'd rather they just finish the 7 star starters. I'd like them to do 7 star Gen 9 starters I don't think current Gen starters have been catchable since Gen 6's friend safari.
