And if you're interested in Potions Permit, would highly recommend checking out the Atelier series which are alchemy-based RPGs - I started out with Ryza 1 and it's amazing and cozy af. (Also, the trailer for Mineko's Night Market is out - no release date yet though.)

I have physical copies for Ooblets AND Potion Permit preordered to arrive at my doorstep upon release dates! Call me something of an old fossil, but I like much of the media I consume- be it books, videogames, music shows and movies - to be acquired in physical format as much as possible! So, with all the awesome indie games the Switch has in cartridge format, I'm one happy old fossil of a gal!

You gotta get yourself some static stickers! Stickers that don't have an adhesive backing, but the back of the sticker is so smooth that it'll stick anyway. Since there's no adhesive to wear out, you can peel them off and re-stick them, too. I think you just need to wash or rinse them between re-stickings, just to get any dust off of them since that'll stick to them, too.

Outstanding video Dr. Eeowna. The look on your face when you said ‘THERE’S PETS IN THIS GAME!’ was priceless. You MUST play the older Monkey Island games if you get a chance, along with Day Of The Tentacle. They are all adventure/comedy classics… probably have a guide to hand though. The puzzles can be a bit obscure.

I'm so hyped about Ooblets. Played the beta, so fun and cute! I'm scared about that dysney game. Like energy based activity, we might need to pay to get energy and keep playing. It looks so good tho! That alchemist game looks kinda hard, not my cup of tea. Ateliers games are more up my alley.

Aside from Potion Permit, I am sooo excited for Splatoon 3!! My SO played the second one and it's one of his favorite Switch games. But he is a hardcore gamer compared to me being a cozy, casual gamer so I never thought I'd be in to a shooter game either! But we played Splatfest together and it was really, really fun (even though I was pretty bad lol).

Cross progression has been confirmed for Dreamlight Valley but only when the game launches next year. As of now if you want to play on multiple platforms you have to purchase a founder's package for each system but your progress won't carry over. I'm so excited for Dreamlight Valley.

In regards to dreamlight valley, it has cross-progression between pc, steam, epic, Xbox and switch. PlayStation is only between ps4 and ps5. If you want to play early access on multiple devices, each needs their own founders pack. However, once it comes out next year and is f2p, you can access all your items on the respective cross-progression consoles. The only item that is console-locked are paid moonstones.

There is a thing called sticker books where its pages made out of the same material as the backs of stickers so when you are ready to use it, you just peel it out of the book!!

Dreamlight Valley is gonna have cross-save!!! During early access, you will have to buy it on both/all platforms you want to play on (doesn't have to be the same pack), but by doing that, you'll get to bring your save to any platform you have it on! And once it goes to early access, you can freely switch between any platforms you want (except PlayStation)!

For Disney dreamlight valley during the early access stage to play on 2 ‘consoles’ you’ll need to purchase 2 packs (one for each)? There is cross progression, but… PlayStation isn’t compatible (only with itself) and you can’t take your console specific moonstones to another console. So switch moonstones stay there, where as the free moonstones you earn in game can be used over multiple consoles. I’ve preordered ultimate on switch (got to also play in first 7 days to get the bonus and port my pc made avatar to the switch for that bonus too) I’ll wait till it’s ‘free’ to play cross platform because I’m not paying twice - it’s already very expensive.

Hi there. New sub. :) I just preordered Ooblets and more than likely going to tryout Dreamlight Valley. I usually don’t comment much, but your thing about stickers resonated with me. My solution was to put them on wood boards and hang them on the wall. That way I’ll always have them. I made separate boards for different categories (travel, concerts, fav products etc…) I plan on sealing them once they are full. Hopefully that made sense. Anywho, thanks for the great game suggestions & the work you put into making these videos.

One that I also can't wait for (even though it might not technically be counted as something that would be cosy) is made in abyss binary star falling into darkness. It has most of the things I enjoy doing in games and apart from the occassional horror that are in places I think it's going to be an awesome game- I'm holding off on preordering though because even though I want to play it on the switch I don't know how it will run and if it runs anything like rune factory 5 I'll be sad because that'll be ANOTHER game I'll have to purchase again on my laptop :)
