8 Pin CPU Connector

Not sure how but I did manage to get the 8 pin CPU connector on the MB. The system fan however I have no idea on how I will get that on. Only thing left is front panel connectors. Only 3 so that should be pretty easy. Should have it running today but after I get back home. Have a great day.

Well, you are making progress, which is more than I have done on my AMD build the last couple of days. I had to stop to replace one of my external drives that I use for daily backups. Fortunately, my case let me connect those CPU cables from the PSU without a lot of struggle. My last build I had to struggle.

@@JeffRyman69 that guy actually made a video and tagged me in it. That 300Watt connector replaced the 6 and 8 pin connector. Now I understand it not sure u like the connector

Ya I kinda figured that out. I never think about over clocking so I was thrown off for a few minutes. Oddly enough after the video and posted it. It dawned on me as to why it is like that.

Installing a CPU on the motherboard is a lot easier if you do it outside the PC case, so do it before mounting the motherboard inside the case. This will give you more space to work with instead of having to restrict yourself with the limited space inside the chassis.

Take the fans on the top out and just use the 2 in the front and the one in the back. Top Fans can destroy airflow and make it worse. then you save Money for the additional Fan hub.

you can not get your fat fingers into that space (I could neither) so you need to take out the board. then reroute the fan cable and then put it in. More Work but worth the work.

You don't need to worry about the 2 4Pin CPU connectors, you would've used one of those if your M/B didn't support an 8Pin EPS connector.
