bro, i just want to let you know that my whole life i've havent been sure what job to pursue. im 25 now and i still felt completely lost, while all of my friends had their career path chosen already. you single handedly convinced me to pursue this field. ive been building up my little lab for a few months now and i started with monitor repairs, its been a lot of fun. i hope in the future i have all of the gear ready to tackle my first gpu. from the bottom of my heart: thank you. i feel like i finally found my purpose in life. :)

Yeah, KZbin does influence choices we make. One time I became a welder. Then a machinist and before they I was a professional hammered dulcimer builder 😅. If you want to know more about my KZbin journey, find my other channel in the channels page. It will blow you away the skill set you can learn just by watching KZbin all day. How ever, electronics was my last passion because as I get older, I want less and less physically challenging work. Hopefully I won't have to come back to transmission repairs and motorcycle engine rebuilds 😅

@@northwestrepair oh yeah I heard you mention that you started with a bunch of 1070s or whatever it was that you got off of a mining guy or something and learned everything off of KZbin. I'm fortunate enough to have a friend helping me along the way when I have any questions, since he designs pcbs professionally and is really knowledgeable and passionate about this field of work. I was so happy when I managed to fix my first monitor without asking him for help :D

I have the ASUS TUF 4080. It's supported at the rear by a bracket that is part of my case (a Fractal Torrent). Glad I installed that! It might also help that the PC is rarely moved, and it sits on a wheeled table so when it's time to get cleaned inside, it doesn't get picked up and sat down. za te pukotine su proizvodjaci krivi.
