🫡 had hard time with planche progressions. So i decided to start with handstand progressions. It seems to translates really well. Going from a bend elbow handstand and slowly controling it back down has proven wonders for my progress toward planche. Hopefully once i master the handstand ill be able to preform the same progression from a straight atm position.

Yes, press, planche, handstand and HSPU can all be combined and feed each other.

Whenever I try to tuck planche my feet barely get off of the floor becuase I can't raise my hips up, what do I need to strengthen in order for me to raise my hips higher than my shoulders?

That's normal for beginner, don't worry keep your elbow straight with hollow body and go direct in desire position, within few days you will be able to get hold it.

Video yourself from the side and check your position. Look for strong protraction of the scapula, tight tuck position (knees inside elbows). Is it needed do TH flexion in planche or its just pure scap protraction?

Both, strong thoracic flexion combined with the protraction would be best for planche
