The reason success didn't continue if the pieces falling apart. Big clubs they see these teams developing projects creating these wonderful teams and systems and styles of play and the key players who make everyone look like stars get sold the immediete season following their success and things go downhill. Look at Monaco selling key big players every season they do good then the next they look like a shell of themselves and become a worse team every season. Then you have Bayer leverkussen, Both Milans and now it's happening to Roma and possibly Liverpool with both salah mane and even firminio rumoured to be leaving. Roma sold salah after a successful season and even though they did well this season imagine if they had salah still. Now they sell niangolan things aren't looking well for them
