Dr is safe ! :) I was born and raised in USA my parents are Dominican and I made the brave move to relocate 4 years ago and I love it ! I only travel to USA once a year to visit my family for about 10 days and I’m back to dr. As long as you have a good income and work for yourself and know how to make money you’ll be good, it’s dangerous if you’re in a motorcycle but I drive so I never ran into any trouble. So idk about someone else experience I’ve never ran into a problem.

Let me ask you.... what part of DR are you in? What coast do you like more? North or South? I'm going to ask you about some cities... name off what first comes to mind..you don't necessary have to been there but maybe what you heard, pro or conPuerto PlataSosuaSantiagoNaguaSamanaMocaSan Pedro de MacorisIf you don't know just say it... I'm thinking of moving there (I'm in Fort Lauderdale) but Panama and Equador are also being considered.. Also would it be better to buy a car there or in the states? Are cars more expensive? When you said 15 minutes to the beach I take it maybe your living inland or are you in Santo Domingo? How about opening a bank account? Is it hard too? Thanks for the video...
@nicolles.46428 жыл бұрын
I live in the South Coast, the only place I've been in the North is Samana/San Francisco de Macoris. I personally like the North more, it's a lot "slower/laid back" than the south because it's mostly country & lots of beaches...very tourist-y too. But Santo Domingo, San Pedro, La Romana are more city-like. So it depends on what you like! Cars here, even used, are very expensive..kind of mind-blowing how expensive they are. But, if you buy a car in the states, I heard you still have to pay a "great deal" to get it here...it's best to value pros/cons. Opening a bank account is very easy, no need to worry about that. Thank you for watching!

koko Django When are you moving? You're just starting Spanish classes??? I must warn you, Dominican Spanish is spoken VERY fast and they cut alot of words. You will have a hard time understanding them. Thankfully many of them, mainly the young people, speak English. I spent a semester there and my experience wasn't the best, but it was a good learning experience. I know someone from India who lived in the DR for a year and had not one Dominican friend bc they always tried to cheat him in some way. His friends were Haitian who Dominicans don't really like. So be careful when making friends. Many of them have ulterior motives when it comes to foreigners.

No more acceptable than the kkk or white supremacists or any other hate group. any person or country that strays from those ideals is an abomination. apparently you worship satan?
