Well, I'm glad that you realized that some things aren't worth all the pain, the struggle, time, and effort we put into. Praying for you to find better chances or maybe create your own startup.

I am a student right now at the technical university studying Biotech and every video you post is so insightful to the things that are real life. You show huge amount of useful information and literally simplify things that we (students) would be stuck on otherwise. That is unpleasant that everything came out that way with u, but I’m sure you’ll find ur new p job as captivating as ur previous one if haven’t yet :) Good luck and take care!

Hey man I am in the exact same boat as you. I have been interviewing a lot but no final offers. Economy is not doing too hot and I was wondering if you could make a video on your job hunt process. I am sure a lot of people would benefit from that. Thanks and good luck on your job hunt you got this!

Currently a Manufacturing Engineer who does a lot of fixture design and routing work in SAP. I can confirm this video is very accurate all around. I laughed at a lot of your comments about meetings as I actively sit in a few that never have anything to do with me most times💀

Randomly stumbled upon this because it was in my suggested, probably because I am a software engineer. I think I might have met you at Qahwah house in Illinois (I was Ed Sheeran look-alike). Your videos are great quality and really good info for aspiring engineers. Good luck on your next opportunities and keep up the good work!

Great video. Personally as a design engineer with 2 young kids (ones a baby), and i think i may also have some sort of undiagnosed ADD...i hate working from home and im literally so unproductive, it gives me guilt. Id much rather be in an office around other co workers to soak up information, collaborate, and socialise, letalone getting my hands dirty on the shop floor/workshop.

I agree with over communicating. Sometimes, you do forget all the details of what you are working on. Might as well lay everything out on the table just to cover the basics.

Do you have graduate schemes over in the states? Have you considered one? It’s a little concerning that you are having employment issues given how good your resume is. With the skill set you have along with the projects you’ve completed and experienced gained via internships it’s just unbelievable companies aren’t snapping you up. Hopefully in the U.K. the market is a lot better when I graduate. Having said all this, in your first job you was making over $100k. Which is incredible. My first job on a graduate scheme will be around $32k (£28k)

I’m currently working as a Mercedes technician at 20 years old. Also I live with my parents. I’m gonna get my AA in mechanical engineering in summer but once I get to university I don’t know how im going to balance full time and school. Im making really good money too so letting go of this trade would be tough. But in the end I would like to be an engineer. Advice?

Would you prefer taking hand written notes or iPad notes as i am heading into 2nd year electrical engineering and unsure what note taking method to use? Thanks

I am in my final year and i prefer taking notes on paper. There is just something to it, that my iPad doesn’t have and i feel like i get less tired.
@Oramosengr
@Oramosengr Жыл бұрын
Best advice is iPad. Yes it may seem more tiring. Especially if you are an engineer because you WILL be changing colors and perfecting things. But iPad notes are way easier to find when you are in your senior year and reviewing a class from the year before. No notebooks or papers!! You can find answers so so fast! Honestly put me above par my senior year. Don’t get me started on pdf textbooks. Yeah. Saved so much time rather than flipping pages. Search is the best!!
