That interviewer wanted to bash him when it was his turn, he said you talked about money in your last ten minutes ( or something like this) and he replied like that. Which means in this world people only look up to you and listen to you when you are someone important or you have the money to spread your words because your wealth shows your success and people like to listen to successful people who have power or are wealthy. For example why Bollywood actresses are considered role models for feminism or girls are interested in their thoughts? Not because they are more intelligent or educated than other women, but because they become successful, independent, made a lot of money which means they have power to show their success. Imagine you say something and no one takes serious, but if priyanka Chopra says the same thing would it be the same?
@narsis2735 жыл бұрын
@@rohitvishnu6323 they could be one, or two! Depends. But what's the perception of majority is important. When a country is rich like US, intelligent or educated students from around the world go there to find an opportunity for their life and use the platform the country gives them to use their own talents, work and build their future. When a country is poor doesn't matter how many intelligent people are in it! Many are educated, if the country economically is broken it would be even worse many will be jobless. Educated people don't get what they deserve so they decide to migrate to a better place!! It's not an idealistic world but that's how it is. Some one like shahrukh who didn't have any money before in his young days and he has a lot now can definitely see the difference and have seen the bitter truth himself, even people's behavior towards you change! @vics42095 жыл бұрын
@Neel JaviaCasting actors from the same ethnicity of the caracters is not about appearance, it's about representativeness. Most movies have only (or mostly) majority groups representation, when a actor play a minority's role that person is taking away this opportunity from this group. Caracters being beautiful or not is not important in the movie most of the time
@vics42095 жыл бұрын
@Neel Javia off course acting skills cannot be compromised and the good actor should be choose (in the beauty example). When it's about representativeness it's not about looks, there're several actors that are perfect (when it's about ethnicity) and acts really well, it's not like they choose among someone that acts well and other doesn't. About Dr Stranger (and also Sherlock Holmes) actors choices the nationality is not the same but most Americans are from United Kingdom's families also caracter's ethnicity doesn't have a big role in the movie, they are also from a majority group. The choice hardly will be among 2 actors, there're thousand of actors. Most caracters are written thinking about majorites.
