@@blazeclarke I am wondering this - I used to run a modded S4 (nothing like this) and the DSG had a noticeable delay when you let off the brake for launch control. I mean it's not "long" but it's definitely not instant and I could never figure out why they did that. I'd assume the TCU tune would rid the car of that infernal behaviour but maybe it's just a design thing? The last race when he actually managed to anticipate well he walked away but every other race Ken got a massive jump.

Ken’s incredible sportsmanship during competitions showcases his great spirit. I’m from Germany and grew up playing games like *Need for Speed: Underground 2* and *Colin McRae Dirt*. Ever since Ken Block, together with DC Shoes, started creating the Gymkhana series, I’ve been-although I dislike the term-a true fan of Ken Block. He was not only an amazing athlete but also a wonderful human being. It deeply saddens me that he’s no longer with us, but he passed away doing what he loved most. Rest in peace.

They said they asked him to show up on regular tires (so he could swap them for drags when he got there) but the Audi owner misinterpreted and took that as he needed to be on street tires for the entire event. He’s not late off the line. It’s the DSG within the Audi. If you pay attention even in the races the Audi won his take off reaction time was still behind kens. And it wasn’t his reaction time it’s the DSG

Those duel clutches in Audis are awesome quick, my rs4 avant v8 has 7 gears and when that launches with dynamic it hauls to 190 plus , it has had the limiter removed at the factory, it was a demo model the revs are 8250 every gear change its like a drug,

I love how no one is mentioning the teaser of Rob Dahm"s billet 4 rotor at the end. That car made 1200 on pump gas with lowish boost to all 4 tires. He shooting for 2000 hp in its final form. That's the race I'm most excited for here.

Go back and watch the 3rd 1500 ft race. Even if the Audi got the hole shot, the Hoonicorn was walking away at 1,000 feet. That Audi did not stand a chance when the boost was turned up. And that was on DOT street legal slicks, not full race meat.
