We need more considerate people like the van driver. I'm happy to see Pin is so calm and doesn't interfere, my instructor was very assertive. It turned me to drive well, but Indians do not respond well to assertiveness... obviously being a guy in his 30's is beyond anxiety... so I took the context, not the anxiety.

I did Reverse Bay Parking on my test. Fun fact; you are able to secure the car once parked, inform your instructor that you are not finished with your manoeuvre, get out of the car and check you are in the lines. then get back in the car and tell the instructor you are finished. This is completely allowed. I had heard of this before doing my test and wanted to be 100% sure this wouldn't fail me.

bless! I feel like 8 serious sounds like a lot but she did well on a lot of parts, just nerves and silly mistakes which we've all made! with a little reflection and calming herself, she will be a great driver. unlike others, I don't think you were too harsh with faults as a lot of examiners would take the same stance as you and its better to warn her of that. you just don't know who you'll get on the day. keep working hard Maddy & you will pass before you know it.

I failed my test on Tuesday as I was 'speeding' I was doing 25-30 mph on country lanes as the weather was very bad, a lot of mud and flooded in some parts then I slowed to 5-10 mph to go through them. My instructor even said I should not have been failed for that. I enjoy watching your videos they give me confidence.

Driving Anything 10mph under the legal road limit is very dangerous especially as country lanes are mostly 50-60 mph roads and single lanes , I get your trying to be safe but slow drivers are the most dangerous type of drivers and are most likely to cause/get into an accidents. So his decision is respectable, But I wish u the best of luck for ur next test

I'm just glad we didn't have to do this parking in a bay bollocks when i did my test. I'd drive right through the bay so i was facing out so o don't have to reverse out. And I'm glad i only had to reverse round the corner and do a 3 point turn instead of parallel parking! I've had my licence since 1997 and i still can't parallel park!

Billion times better compared to your last mock test video you uploaded pin.😊 A much more pleasant watch. Thank you Maddy for coming on. ❤ Hopefully 2024 is the year she passes her UK driving test. ☺️💕 3:26 yea, it was a slight mistake from her. She was driving on their side of the road. 😮 4:11 she did look to be very close yes 😅 The mistakes and video timing is in the description of this. Her junction observations are good, she simply wasn’t use to driving in this specific car vehicle which Lead to some of her mistakes i feel. 8:17 well done Maddy 12:43 good use of the signal

@@sirmounted8499 The adaptions for vehicles can be very radical. On test in an adapted vehicle as long as you show you are safe like any learner you will pass the test. The great thing is that car thieves are extremely unlikely to steal a vehicle that does not have a steering wheel.

04:52 Should that not be a serious fault? Stopping over the stop line on a red light is a motoring offence.
@PabitraPadhy
@PabitraPadhy 3 ай бұрын
Not really tbh... although avoid doing that, but if you couldn't manage to stop before the advance stopping line and it's okay. Again, the kind of speed she was in she had to brake harshly to stop which was more unsafe, if there were a vehicle behind, it would have hit for sure. Anticipatory drive would be much better, do not jump red light, but if you feel it's harsh to stop, cross the orange.

A very serious mistake many instructors do is: constantly chatting with their students during the lesson/mock test. That's very distracting. Basically, that's waste of teaching time. I believe most young drivers need at least 2-3 months of driving independently AFTER they've passed their test before they can start multitasking /chatting while driving/.

The examiner might view it differently so better safe than sorry. My instructor taught me well for all scenarios, and while learning in my mind I was like... what the hell.. I could pass through there just fine, but then examiners are sticklers for rules. Also better to remember these. After you pass, it's upto you given that you don't drive unsafe.

It's all pretty to play rules. I'm an Indian and I know what you are saying. We are not rule following drivers, but people with excellent sense of road and hazard, because most drivers don' t follow them. But then riders and drivers are very perceptive of scenarios. My suggestion, even if you are a A grade ADI here in the UK, don't drive in India. It's just not suitable for peple from western world. If India plays rule rule.. 1.5 billions won't get their things done, and none of us will reach anywhere. It's a cosmic chaos, and we have mastered it. It's not for everyone though. Although when I drive in the UK, I drive exactly as mentioned in highway code. Your road your rules.
