There are a few good sources for bodybuilders on KZbin and Mike is one of them. Interrupted sleep is a real issue for curtailing overtraining (wait until you get advanced in age - it can be chronic).

Hi Mike, have you looked into other ways to measure overtraining such as measuring your resting heart rate etc.? Loved the video it was very informative, as all of your articles and videos are. Question Mike? How often should I train if I had all the time in the world? Your book suggests training each muscle group once a week using the various 'splits' but in other articles you say "On average, training a muscle group 3 times per week resulted in 3.1% greater muscle growth". - which is best and do you have a training schedule for the 3 times a week split? Aging can also be a factor in sleep quality. A vitamine deficiency (for example anti- inflammantory) can be a cause of recovery problems.

What are you doing for your calves 3 times per week that they aren't growing? Have you tried 10x10? Pick a super light weight and start a set at the top of every minute for 10 minutes straight. A nuclear approach might be more appropriate if you're yoloing it with 3x10 or something.
