I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. Three investment strategies I learnt the hard way; 1. Always diversify your assets. Never put all your eggs in one basket. 2. Don't be a bandwagon investor. 3. Always make very thorough inquiries before putting your money somewhere or better still, get the services of a pro (that way, you give little room for error and get tailored investments). @@mqk5564 moreover some of those companies have even been through 2008 crisis so wouldn't be so sure that they would just go to zero but my question is would they be beating the market like by a big alpha in the coming years as I feel biotech still hasn't had its time to shine. As Akshat says Kathy goes 100x or 0 so maybe those are the bets he means.
