John when you learn to except yourself for who you are, happiness follows. This happened for me in my early forty’s. For me it was crucial. I probably have to many hobbies. My favorite hobby is tied between tool restoration and fishing. I keep a container of pretzels for a snack in the shop. No fat in them. I always look forward to what you are sharing on your channel. Thank You

I liked your post for Monday and I do try to do what you said, but some of it is really hard. You see, I had a stroke 4years ago and now many things a normal person can do are not an option for me. I still watch your channel and look forward to it. My stroke affected my left side which is hard for me because I was very active and happy before it happened Please keep up the good work!

You don't seem to suffer from loneliness or depression like many do. I for one have wondered what your secret is for years! Very pleased to hear the subject of the video, I'm not young, but I will be taking notes.

What a great video to start the year with. I need to work on exercise (stretching) and the vitamins, all the others I seems to be on my way. I'm one week completely news free now, even "alternative" news free (got the regular stuff out of my system before). It's a really nice break and I'm going to continue it hopefully. Some way or another.

It's amusing how people go their whole life and can't seem to understand that if a certain food doesn't agree with them that they need to stay away from it..........When I was working in the Structural Steel Business I looked like Lou Ferrigno from wrestling that steel all day but I still needed that Cardio Boost so I'd run up and down a flight of stairs 100 times a day, 1200 steps up, 1200 steps down, that'll get your heart pumping.........I actually have a Sunbox Light in my workshop.

You two graduated while I was in Middle/Jr High School. Class of 86 here. I've got to add #9 on the list. #9 Gravity is getting stronger for everyone. Think about it, who says it gets less pull? Everyone I know agrees its a whole lot easier to get too the ground and harder to get off the ground. If everyone agrees, gravity must be getting stronger, Right? LOL. Seriously I haven't watched the news on purpose for maybe 20 years. After all it is NOT NEWS its HISTORY RIGHT? Huey Lewis said it right with it all being "Dirty Laundry."

Good advice to live by. But I would like to comment on the vitamin D advice. As a pharmacist, I would caution on vitamin D. Although it is rare, vitamin D toxicity is possible. People will think if 1 is good, 2 is better. Thus, I would suggest if anyone is considering taking a vitamin D supplement, or any other supplement, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
@ScoutCrafter2 жыл бұрын
Actually 2 is better! 😃 The average dose of Vitamin D is 600 IU and the studies have shown that you can take 5 times that with no negative side effects. More and more Doctors are suggesting vitamin D supplementation these days and they aren’t suggesting 600 IU- Much higher. In 2018 a study was done and concluded about 42% of adults are Vitamin D deficient... Those were pre pandemic numbers, they think that number could have easily doubled over the last 18 months. The problem here isn’t taking too much it’s not taking enough! 😃👍
