I love this kind of video ! You always take inspirations from them to appropriate the looks to your wardrobe, and I really like it. Just for the last look of Marilyn, maybe you should wear a brown belt, it will be prettier with the yellow colour ;)

Hi Shirin, I really love this video, and it is so helpful in showing ideas about how to recreate vintage inspired looks with clothes you can also find in "regular" stores. My all time favourite actresses from Old Hollywood are definitely Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn, but I would love to see a video inspired by the wonderful Marlene Dietrich, or Veronica Lake :)

I really love that some of the outfits aren't an exact copy of the original. It gives the idea that it's possible for everyone to recreate or at least get inspired by them. Amazing video, Shirin!

While it's true that her body shape helps immensely in recreating those styles, I'm sure everyone can find at least one woman from the past with a figure they could relate to and see what type of clothing worked well on them to still look lovely and feminine.

Everyone body are different she has petite frame yes belts. Right shape wear underneath a steal boned corset or ragu shape wear to mold the curves more.

@@Shirinatra you definitely should, they're very funny and relatable. I've tried once to record a video for a uni progect and I've spent a whole day for 5 minutes of video. There is a looot of work behind your 10 15 minutes of video, and the clips will also show that.

I absolutely love these looks! I love that you come up with something you own already to recreate the styles. I wish more people dress classy like this. People used to dress up nicely like this and looked so elegant and graceful. People nowadays don’t quite have this same attitude and attention when it comes to dressing up everyday.

You interpret my icons so well! My mother has such dresses from the 50s, but the upper part is too tight for my chest. I recreated her 70s-80s dresses and wear them with pleasure with modern shoes, even with trainers.

Love this video!! Marilyn and Brigitte are two of my most favorite style inspirations, and I'm so happy you styled your outfits with shorts. I feel like most vintage videos I watch all contain dresses, and sometimes I just want to be a bit more casual! Also, Niagara is pronounced "nye-a-gra" (the 'a' in the middle is short, and sounds like the 'a' sound Americans use when saying 'apple'), just in case you were curious :)
