It’s cute, but it’s creating memories of choosing the perfect spot and light and setting up the camera to show your outfits perfectly, create the mood with longing eyes and smiles. I’m not saying you’re not having a good time. It’s just esthetics are not that important in real life. And non-influencers fall into this social media trap all the time. You don’t need to look perfect to create perfect memories, and they will most probably be far less cute looking.

We are only seeing glimpses of their lives. The beautiful photos or videos people capture before, during, or after special occasions serve merely as reminders of those precious moments. Moments that may not have looked as well-manicured and perfect but felt every bit as special. I don't think these aesthetic little creations take away from the beauty of the memories left off camera, if anything, they enhance them 🌹
