Does anyone know if clio management software have screening services when you have a staff lawyer who has a conflict?

Hi John! Clio does not automatically screen for ethical lawyer conflicts. But Clio makes it very easy to search names throughout its system so that you can very quickly identify whether or not you’ve previously represented someone in your new potential case. The Clio global search function is basically second to none, but firms must still rely on their own judgment as to whether a conflict exists or not. Hope that helps.

I’m trying to use the MailDrop. I’d rather use it as a CC, than a BCC, so the responses also go in the file automatically. The mail drop address is ugly, is there any way to fix that?

I frequently use it in the CC as well, although I have not found a way to make the link any less ugly. And to encourage responders to “reply all” so that all the responses automatically go into the Clio matter, I incorporate a message like this into my Email signature: ** Please do “reply all” to this email so that our organizational system maintains the entirety of the communication chain. **

Hi Robert, Clio is great for a small family law practice. And because it is subscription-based, you can add or remove users based on your growth as a firm, which helps you stay flexible.
