I got platinum blonde now from dark brown to almost natural blonde hair bec I think my pixie looks good in blonde but I don't worry because Ive gone buzzcut Oct 2023. I got tired of my natural long wavy hair that I sported for many many years. But ur right this is a good reminder for long haired women to consider, this is helpful. How often do you have to go to the salon for toning to maintain your specific blonde color? Is using purple shampoo enough to keep this color without going to the salon? Thanks!

I never really go in and get my hair refined tbh, its usually fine for 4 months for me personally but depends how ashy you want your color to stay, and how light they take your base color

Thanks for reply. I got a similar ash blonde balayage last week and after washing twice the color completely washed off and became yellow/brassy. It’s so upsetting since I spent so much on it and I honestly don’t know what to do :( do you know what level bleach your stylist lifted your hair to? I think mine was level 8/9

@@greeniful8172 I'm not sure, but you can also try at-home toner and there are some pretty strong purple masks!
