This video helped me achieve the tone I wanted on my hair!!!! If anyone is looking for milk tea blonde follow the formula!! I tweaked mine a little bc I only lifted to a level 8 so I just took out the 9-1 it’s literally exactly what I wanted as a cosmetologist surrounded by other cosmetologists who were all stumped getting me what I wanted thank you you are insanely talented!❤

I was turned away from multiple “upscale” salons because they told me that I would never be able to achieve “a blond “ shade due to my dark brown hair. Clearly they were not educated on how to properly do it. Thank you for sharing your videos.

Exactly. If they say its not possible, its because they just can not do it.

Not everyone’s hair lifts the same. Also if your hair is precoloured, it wouldn’t be possible. Also depends on the condition of your hair. As a stylist, I think everyone thinks we are Harry Potter, or just because their friend had that colour it doesn’t mean it’s possible for their hair.

You are so professional. You deserve all the respect even if your fees are high; you deserve it. A lot of hair Designer designers don’t know what to do. They asked us to do all three of them in more than four sessions to do the color while you did it in the first session. You are so professional 🌹💐

Thank you for being transparent. As a seasoned stylist I still run into problems and am still forever learning. I wish we can have more real talks about when things don't go as planned. It can be traumatic lol but knowing others go through it too and we are human makes it a little easier.

I came upon your video after being talked out of doing this by a colorist because my hair is too “dark and course” and that was told I wouldn’t be able to maintain it. Thanks for showing me it is possible for Asian hair.

Stylist here, this is also not a traditional "hand painted" balayage. This is a "foilayage". We HAVE to use foils to get this amount of lift. Could be where the confusion is 🤷🏼♀️

Well, thank you so much you did on Asian hair. As an Asian i find it that most of our hair colourist go to extreme gray everytime i ask for natural ash. Also, as our Asian haor is so black and thick when we highlight it it becomes mostly weak and peel off thats the problem. I would really like to visit your salon for gods sake if im there but here Iam in India... Haha, ☺☺Nice work everytime. Love from India.

just an FYI, indian hair texture is completely different from eastern asian hair. i’m eastern asian and my natural hair is more blue black or cool black and smooth straight hair. but many indian women have warm black hair/red and course/wavy. a lot of eastern asian hair is also thin BUT a lot of hair

I thought about this... Bringing Asian hair easily to blonde. I see so Many Asian girls with beautiful blonde hair. My hair is naturally ash brown & although I've been platinum blonde in past. All my recent attempts to ask for blonde at hair salons have resulted in gold tone dark blonde at best. I think the Salons want to make money asking you to come back for another blonding appointment. BTW my hair is in VERY good condition. The fact is tho if you don't do it right, I won't be back for the 2nd 3rd & possibly 4th attempt.
