Interesting to see what made an impact on you in Spain! People do love those Chinese shops which are literally everywhere and the wine and tapas are are often mentioned by visitors as their fave thing (notice the passive voice there!), but as you mentioned in the video one of the best thing about Spain is the welcome and attention a child gets. I remember getting stoppped in the street every time I went out with my daughter when she was little. It makes them feel so loved. Nice video which I will direct my students to. I like it better than your more "slapstick" stuff...

Thanks so much for this reply, Jane. The child friendly culture is definitely my favourite thing about Spain. Tom and Yana had friends all over the city, but hardly spoke to the people in their apartment block. All that changed when our grandson was born. As you say, the love and attention a child gets is wonderful for the child and also, I think, for developing bonds in a community.

It has successfully lowered my cholesterol levels dramatically. Hi Canal. Jay here. My apologies for not writing back to you sooner. My primary motivation for going vegan was health. Since adopting that diet my cholesterol has dropped significantly. And I have to say that while animal rights were not on my mind when I made the decision, I am glad that no animal has to be killed for my dinner :-) Thanks for writing to us and thanks for watching our video.

Hi CBO ANDALUCÍA. This is Jay writing back to you. I just did a search on the web for Gazpacho recipes and found some with sugar and some without. But I suspect in Andalusia it might be without sugar. If that's where you're from, it's a place we love. We've spent delightful vacations in Almeria.

@@SimpleEnglishVideos Thank you for the answer, but I`m still in shock. Gazpacho is a soup, not a dessert. I know a few recipes, from, differents parts of Andalucía, from Extremadura, Castilla... I never heard it before. But maybe is something from te new chielfs, that like to play... But don´t touch our gazpacho!
