Pixel Brew You should make the floating island have a giant fan underneath. The fan blades can be made out of stone slabs. Maybe the water can be pushed away as well. Revealing the sea floor and all the coral. By the way I care over from FWhip and you are a great builder.

My friend and I made a creative world about 5 years ago and we have been adding houses and shops in this old city set in the 1820’s. We got an idea to add some lore to the place by creating a cult that practically runs the town behind the scenes. The businesses are flourishing and the people are generally happy but everyone knows that something is sketchy about it but also aren’t complaining much because the place is prosperous. We named the cult The Colony of Birchmen from a Mastodon song and basically they brainwash tourists and local townsfolk into sacrificing themselves. Their soul is basically put into a contraption that the cult calls the Soul Engine where it releases prosperity into town (not sure how). We also have people that hear of how well the town is doing so they travel from far away places to set up shop. And then they end up disappearing or having conflict with the cult. Every time we built we think, how can it benefit the town, or how does it affect the cult? Who can move into this vacant lot and how can their story Intertwine with an already thought up story. I can say after 5 years of building in this place, we can still come up with ways to evolve the story just from adding a single structure. I really appreciate videos like this because it is more than just Minecraft. It gives more meaning behind what you build. If I could give you a thousand likes for this I would. Keep up the great work man, looking forward to binge watching all of your stuff!

This sounds like my brother, my sister's, and my empire that we've had for 6 years. We all have our own towns that rival. Our towns have to survive great battles and flourish to be the highest ranking. We also have to secretly trade to get resources from each other. My town is highest, brother is second, my sisters is last place. It's really fun

King Rayn III fell in and couldn’t get out. He found his way over to the end cities and made his own town. His insanity drive him to the point where he created the ended dragon. Maybe a laboratory could be built? There could even be an end city that has collapsed due to the kings psychotic actions. Since you have defeated the dragon maybe a giant skeleton is curled up around the middle portal in the end. The skeleton can be as big as you want it. You probably aren’t going to do this but tell me your thoughts. Thank you.

Just wanted to say, I found your channel today and have been enjoying watching your videos, but this one was particularly enjoyable to watch. I've always been a big lore junkie, and so hearing all of the effort you've been putting into your lore was fascinating. It was also quite motivational, as I've actually been planning to incorporate both sci-fi and medieval/fantasy buildings into my own survival world, and so your brief comment at the end about combining sci-fi/modern builds with medieval ones just makes me want to work all the harder to bring that idea to life. So thanks for sharing all of this with us!
@PixelBrew
@PixelBrew 4 жыл бұрын
Hey Bouncymischa 😄 Glad you enjoyed the video! Lore is always great to add to your world and it also gives you the freedom to build whatever you want! I plan to also build some form of fantasy/sci-fi mix because why not 🥳 Glad the video was helpful! If you ever tackle that medieval sci-fi, I'd love to see what you make!
@bouncymischa
@bouncymischa 4 жыл бұрын
@@PixelBrew Well, my current plans are to have a region of sci-fi colonists stranded on the world, surrounded by more fantastic areas... but it does make me wonder if I should make some communities that have mixed sci-fi and fantasy elements a bit. The Nether is going to be a particularly interesting situation, since while the portal the colonists built is over 2000 blocks away from the portal the wizards have... in the Nether they're only around 250 blocks apart, putting them unnervingly close together. I imagine the colonists are going to have to find a way to defend their Nether research outpost... maybe flying drones...
@PixelBrew
@PixelBrew 4 жыл бұрын
@@bouncymischa All great ideas :) For the nether, I'm going with the idea that the nether essentially bends space-time to allow for faster travel with the cost of the dimension being incredibly dangerous. So you could play with that idea potentially? Food for thought :) Love the ideas though!
@bouncymischa
@bouncymischa 4 жыл бұрын
@@PixelBrew Oh, that's right, you also have those Gates to allow faster travel through your world. That's going to be pretty cool to see as it develops! I figure that the wizards have established a few outposts in the Nether to collect magical materials and reagents (blaze powder, etc.), and thus have surface communities and outposts scattered across the world, rather than a cohesive empire. I built a portal near a fortress I found, that turned out to be around 3000 blocks away from their main city, and floating over the ocean... so it's going to end up being a flying castle located over the sea, although not nearly as ambitious as your steampunk city. :P Anyways, thanks for letting me ramble about my ideas a bit, it's really helped motivate me to work more on bringing all of these ideas to life! I also can't wait to see what else you come up with for your own world!

Just an idea! Maybe for what happened to the king when he fell into the end portal, is that he gain some kind of power while in the End and with that power he built a fortress/castle structure with the same build style as the town mixed with end blocks, essentially becoming some kind of king/ruler there.
@PixelBrew

This is something I really want to get better at doing and also, this will help for the story/lore that is behind the server I play on. I feel sometimes it's really hard to decide the meaning of builds and how to connect them to the over all world that is being created. :) As always your builds do an amazing job at telling a story and I only hope that I can do this as well. I have been working on some ideas for my area on my server, building in the badlands with the concept of steampunk/tinkerer as the style/people of the area. They are outcasts from the rest of the world because of their crazy ideas and gadgets. They build strange constructs, contraption, and fly around with elytras as their personal means of travel. They have a huge fleet of airships and ocean barges to transport their goods around the rest of the world. After growing to a large scale city the rivals many of the others in the world they have become prosperous and gained the recognition they have longed for. Sorry for the long post, really wanted to share this with you. :)

Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love. Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans . The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us into His image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. We cannot purify ourselves, but Christ lived that perfect sinless, pure life and then allotted it to our "account". That's where our righteousness comes from. Not from any good, works that you or I could do. It is not based on the amount of good works we do. God starts the changes, He carries it on, and He completes it in those who let Him. It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him, again, through His power and instruction). He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if YOU had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, forgiveness, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it. He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way. As Christ said: I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER If you have any questions let me know
