CSG has been really good to me so far. Sold 3 Kobe rookies, all sold for prices comparable to PSA or BGS. I went with sub-grades and happy with the overall look with the green. The non-subgraded cards look a little weird like something is missing from the label but are only $8 for bulk submissions... I also think that the color matching in the industry is nice, but with so much counterfeit slabs that may be hard for buyers to differentiate. At the end of the day, green is the color of money and CSG is money.

I got it after the real prizm came out and price tanked. On top of that i came back an 8 so i assume the grader was having a bad day and now it is worth 50-150$ and worth less than the grading cost. my ranking assuming the card is in the same condition for all a perfect card 1. beckett 2. psa even tho they suck 3. sgc but if its vintage its #1 4. PSA and BGS because of the registry technology. If all your cards are PSA or Beckett , you don’t need third party tools like Market Movers/CardLadder to check your portfolio. The subgrades are the foundation on which Beckett (BGS) were founded. Definite asset to their grading. Plus, Pristine and Black label cards are the most sought out in the industry. Why would a submitter absolve themselves of a chance to receive the utmost highest grade? I have submitted quite a lot to BGS, and have received about 10 Pristine 10's...that makes a huge difference in my pocket.

Also for HGA: -Slabs aren’t from China etc, they are locally molded. Very nice once in hand. Crystal clear. Still fit in regular Slab Sleeves. -They are currently relocating to a much larger facility for easier expansion due to sudden high demand. -You can send your cards already slabbed by another company and they will not charge you to crack it. No need to even tell them, they’ll just crack it for you for no charge and then grade as usual. -No upcharge for higher valued cards like PSA does. Yup. Send ‘em a Jordan RC and you’ll only pay for shipping to/from and grading costs. Only issue is they didn’t expect to blow up so fast and currently can’t keep up with demand so they limit total submissions per week to maintain turnaround times. But they are expanding as we speak into another warehouse etc and hopefully things will get better to allow way more submissions. Some people don’t like the slabs but imo, they’re the best looking on the market. CSG isn’t bad.. It is green but actually somewhat holographic into a blue but you primarily see the green. I believe they’re here to stay. The colorful label options add a slight touch to a different audience and a refresher feel to an already existing one. They’ll just have to change it every 5-10yrs to keep up with trends like clothing, otherwise it can look dated like PSA and BGS labels. I did an HGA submission reveal the other day if you wish to see the slabs in different color variations. All Kobe Rookies. They even matched his High School colors for those cards which surprised me tbh.

HGA has limits on submissions per week, and it's bad. You now must keep checking back to see if there are any "slots open" for the week for you to be allowed to submit cards. Not ideal if you are a business who has 100's if not 1000's of cards to get graded. CSG are the consummate professionals of all the companies. Their customer service is fantastic and they constantly keeping the community base up to speed on implemented changes and updates. The only con i guess would be if you don't like the green slab. Fundamentally, isn't what's most important is that the card has been graded in great shape or whatever shape it is in, that it's well-protected and the slabbing technology will keep it safe from the slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune? I also think it's worth asking: Are PSA-only and BGS-only staunch advocates concerned with protecting the ego of their company-graded investment as much--if not more so--than protecting the safety, quality or enjoyment of the card? I mean I know a fine-looking woman when I see her and I really do not need a grading company--lol. Can't the same hold true with a well-protected card? I offer this only as food for thought.

In my opinion "A graded card is a graded card" as for value it shouldnt matter where the card was graded. You cant tell me that one company has better "graders" than another. I'm sure they all grade cards the same way, looking for all the same defects. Up here in Canada we have KSA and MNT grading companies. I see many of their graded cards popping up on ebay but are under rated All I am saying is I dont think PSA is the "Be all end all" of graders and find it rediculous that their 10's would be worth more than other 10's. Just my opinion.

They have what all those other companies don’t. Branding. The perceived value they have created takes years if not decades to build. Very hard to overcome if you are one of the lower tier grading companies. They may also have graders at PSA that have been doing it for longer than some of these companies have been around. Yes, can always train a new grader, but the perception in the market place right now is PSA is the best. Thanks for watching.

@@PowersSportsMemorabilia yes that I must agree with you. Market perception is the big driver in alot of these situations. Just like comic grading. CGC is the monster out there just like PSA. Great video -- thanks. The timing is perfect for me. Currently gathering cards (mostly basketball) for my first ever grading submittal. I think I'll give SGC a try -- mainly because I really don't want to wait 11 months (PSA/Becketts). Question - have you done a video detailing your recommended way to package up a shipment to a grading company? I could really use that expertise now. There are a lot of common sense things I'll do, but as someone who's in the business, I'm sure you've seen the good/bad/ugly and could really guide a first-time grader in the right direction. If you have a video on it already, please provide the link.; If you haven't done one, please consider it. Again - great video; thanks!

Calm down & relax... stuff happens & they’re learning.. the fact you’re complaining about getting your cards back within 25 days just shows how insane your comment is. You’re really that mad over this?? I bet they will give you a credit or take care of shipping costs if you email them & tell them. “Friggin horrible” 😂😂😂 not even close.. you sound miserable.

We of course I'll complain when I paid extra $$ to get them back faster on their promised 10 days or else I would have submitted for 30 day service, your comment is probably cause you couldn't even get in to submit cards so you're being negative to someone who did! Would you like it if you paid $600 for same day service and they got it back to you in 1 week?..I think not

@@invaderj815 I would go read his review first. Fairly thorough. As mentioned in the video, you do what you want. These are just my thoughts and my opinions.
