I’ve been looking for any information for a while and would appreciate anyone advice. My grand father got my dad a signed Willie Mayes baseball blue board game from preferred inc. He was in the area at the time and used an old signature for it. It’s unopened except for the sides cracking and it’s been authenticated and was very much so real. Problem is I can’t find any information on it my dad is a disabled vet now and needs my care full time. I’m curious if it’s worth anything or should I look into a museum?

I have a Stockton story myself, i went to an Atlanta hawks jazz game in the late 80s the jazz player's came out to warm up and i noticed a family with shirts with stocktons picture on them,they came form three states away to see their favorite player Stockton, fast forward we were right by the jazz player's tunnel they wanted a couple of autographs, Malone came out and signed as well as mark Eaton and Stockton followed them ,i called to him mr Stockton could you possibly sign an autograph for this young boy he is your biggest fan he was really, Stockton says i gotta warm up in get him when i am through,cool thanks he gets through walks right by ignoring the probability eleven yaer old and i mean he was within four feet of us ,the kid looks heartbroken, i told him maybe he will sugn after the game,lol nope we were still there waiting after the game and tbey showered, this turd came out and ignored us again i eased over the railing and said to the crying kid give me that damn picture i followed him to the other end of the arena telling him how much the kid idolized him and he just kept on walking never said a word to me,i had to take the kids picture back to him i tried i still remember his face so yeah Stockton sucks

Can you say a rough estimate for DiMaggio baseball? Ever heard of Hunt Auctions? They are a mile from my house & a neighbor said they can do it but there is a show near me in December with the Jersey place.

Ridiculous that they would even consider giving it to Ohtani! He isn't poor by any stretch. He could've bid on the ball himself, if he wanted to buy it. It's theirs to do with as they wish though. The Ohtani ball will fair a LOT better in the long run (financially), than the McGwire ball. The seller of the latter got a MUCH better price, given the timeframe in which he sold it. The feuding parties who sold off the Ohtani ball will probably lose most of it in lawyer fees. I cut the video short when Bonds was compared to Ohtani. Anybody who cheats in their sport (and who cheats the paying public), doesn't deserve to have their career compared with a clean athlete. That's just my thoughts, I don't mean to p*** in the cornflakes of those who hold him in high regard, and mean no offence. Thank you for your content. 👍

I disagree with the Bonds comparison. Obviously the cheating decreases the value of his memorabilia. But also, Ohtani is Japanese baseball is massive in Japan and he's their clear best player. Good American baseball players is a saturated market by comparison. So comparing stats makes no sense, Ohtani has additional value due to his background while Bonds has lost a lot of value due to his actions It's still probably overpriced, I just don't think the comparison proves that I do know you mentioned Japanese collector, but I think you underestimate the value of that. The question isn't the average value people would give to the item, but the value the half a dozen most interested collectors would

Definitely overpriced. Gotta sell while it’s hot though, but I doubt it’s gonna be worth $4.4 million 30 years down the road. Just like how McGwire’s 70th HR ball is no longer worth $3 million (I know Bonds breaking that record is part of that).

Matt - Great video. I sent in an item for this most recent Larry signing. Did you get pictures of him signing each item? If so, how do I get a copy? Thanks.
@Knight78617 күн бұрын
Use black. Because some athlete wouldn't want to sign it cause they know it that the blue pen would be match easier to stamp the signature on another jersey.

Thanks for this tip for using Bestine. It would be great though actually seeing a label removed using Bestine in a video.. Is there any good alternative to Bestine, or is Bestine the only one to use for address labels on magazines..? Thanks!

You should check out 2016-2019 before the parallels. There are some low print run big name rookie cards at least compared to flagship rookies. There was a time from 2016-2022 that you could just buy the auto 1/1,/5,/10,/25,/49,/99 those were the days of no gambling just great cards to buy. Topps now is a great brand!!

I love both. I usually get more iconic players framed in the larger, more decked out version compared to smaller names that usually only the fan base knows that I put in shadow boxes

Back in the 1990s, I went to a Tri-Star show in Denver, to get a photo signed by Johnny Unitas. It was a picture of Unitas and Dan Fouts with the Chargers in 1973. It, of course, was "unlicensed". Well, Unitas' dick-headed son refused to let John sign it. I have to say though, Jeff Rosenberg came in and tried to mediate, but Unitas Jr wouldn't relent. Willie McCovey was also at the show, and Jeff got me a free signed Padres photo for me, to make up for not being able to get the Unitas.

Thats a bitch move why would he even care about it. Signing one unlicensed photo won’t hurt them physically or financially lmao
