What a fantastic lineup! Love how you’ve curated such a diverse range of Italian gems, and all at incredible price points! The G.D. Vajra Langhe Nebbiolo and the Tommasi Rafael Valpolicella Classico Superiore are familiar faces to me, but I’m excited to hunt down and try the others as well, especially Castello di Volpaia Chianti Classico and Il Poggione Rosso di Montalcino. I’m also very interested in the Ferrari Brut Sparkling Wine Trentino Alto-Adige and Inama Vigneti di Foscarino Soave. Okay, I’m actually going to start searching for all of them now.😂 Your recommendations hit every note, and I’m looking forward to tracking them down. Thank you for always creating videos that showcase excellent wines that are so approachable and budget-friendly, John. I truly and greatly appreciate your insights, impressions, and evaluation as well as the impressive visual support in this video. Can’t wait to grab a few of these!

Amazing Video, I just ordered a couple of bottles that you recommended. Luckily, I get most of the wines for less than 20€ here in Europe. This is exactly the kind of content that I highly enjoy. Keep up the great work and thank you for your contribution to my personal wine journey 🙂

Great video John! I had my first little tasting at home last year with an italian concept, small get together and had 6 different wines from different regions and the G.D Vajra Langhe Nebbiolo was a clear favourite. Happy to see it here and looking forward to trying some of their Barolos.

Some good recommendations, John. Langhe Nebbiolo is a steal; I only have one bottle left, so need to replenish. I also enjoy Valpol Ripasso from time to time. Soave, apart from when visiting the Veneto, doesn't do a lot for me. Soave town is lovely, if you haven't been. The Ferrari sparkling is definitely worth a purchase. I took my one and only bottle of 2012 Amarone round for dinner to friends last Saturday; it was delicious but it remains, like Gewurztraminer, an occasional pleasure for me. Incidentally, my TCA sensitivity returned this weekend - with a Muscadet. My wife could detect nothing untoward but it was undrinkable to me. It doesn't happen often but it is annoying when it does. Nice garden, btw.

Thanks very much Steven! Always appreciate your thoughts! Sorry to hear about the tca. I was actually in Venice this weekend and tried more Lugana and Ribolla Gialla to try something new. Enjoyed those as well!

Thanks! Great suggestion. I enjoy Domaine Tempier reds, but need to do a more thorough analysis. Don’t see many of them in my local market or even at national trade events.

The montage of various filming locations and outfits works well to keep the viewers' attention. It is still nevertheless unified by your editing, maintenance of the subject material, and the fact that you narrate each clip.

Barolo costs 90$ .

I don’t recommend a Barolo in this video. It’s a Langhe Nebbiolo that sells for $25 or less.
