To every man who reads this comment, if you are a victim of any kind of assault by a woman, you are not weak, what has happened or is happening to you isn't right & you should always tell someone. There are people who will take you seriously & who will help you through this. You deserve to be heard without criticism or judgement 💜

Story 7 is exactly why, even as an avid dog lover, I do not fault anyone who is legitimately terrified of them. Yes, by and large they are absolute beacons of love and affection and they definitely earned the moniker of man's best friend, but they are still descended from (and to an extent still are) predators and all it takes is a lack of proper socialization or even full-on mistreatment to turn a furry friend into a fearsome foe. Hell, in certain circumstances they can flip from happy, friendly cuddlebugs to concentrated fang-baring aggression in an instant, though one may hope that mostly only happens if their loved ones being threatened.

Me too, homeboy has such a melodious voice. But my favorite thing about his narrations is that he doesn't take on that obnoxious, breathy, whiny fake high pitched voice when repeating something said by a girl or woman that almost all male narrators do, you know? That makes me wanna nuke a city

I feel so bad for the person involved in the hit and run. Sounds like they developed ptsd and didn't see a therapist immediately after. I can't imagine how scary it must have been.

That's exactly what I was thinking. He had PTSD and didn't realize it. You would think that they'd recommend that he see a therapist for the PTSD that he would likely develop. I guess they think "Welp, did *my* job - it's someone else's job to take care of that! Maybe if we don't mention it and hope for the best, he'll be alright. I suppose they're operating on the assumption that mentioning that PTSD is a possibility could trigger it - power of suggestion and all that.

As someone who has PTSD after a life altering car wreck (I was permanently disabled). No one recommends seeing a therapist, no one thinks "it's that bad"... and therefore we don't seek treatment. The first time I recognized what it was, I was the passenger & started having a panic attack as someone drove up fast behind us while at a stoplight (the same way my wreck occurred & I watched the whole thing happen, until I was knocked unconscious by the steering wheel). After the panic attack, I knew there was something wrong & I needed help. I already had other past issues to deal with, but this was what set me on track with therapy. And honestly, for years I denied it was PTSD... I felt that was only reserved for military veterans. I found out quick it wasn't... and mine went on to be C-PTSD. If you know someone that has gone through something like this, recommend it. Bc more than likely the medical staff they see on a regular basis, won't! It may take them time or a triggering event, but hopefully they will listen & do what I did. It has helped me!!!

To the guy in the last story. Your a soul is light and you can command shadows and dark beings to leave and 99 percent of the time they will listen. Also ask the light from 300ft above to come down and surround you with a bubble of light that only allows in positivity and light and what serves you. All you have to do is intend you have a protective shield of light around you and it is instant

Walking home alone tips: Walk with purpose. Head up, shoulders back, and don't show an ounce of fear, even if you're terrified. You got places to be - safely, and make sure you walk like it. (Mace, Stabby Kitties or another keychain "weapons" are always a great idea to have in case. Of anything.) Unless you're calling the cops or someone to talk you home, don't look at your phone and keep your guard up. Again, don't look scared and looking all about like a scared doe. Use your intuition (and I have to put this here because I've legit heard "I don't believe in intuition! I'm too logical and no bs for that." -not in this video, obviously. Yeah. Uh. Intuition is your instincts, use them, hone them. You have them for a reason.) Listen to them, and learn to use your peripherals. Animals/dogs? Mace works on them too, btw. Never underestimate ANYONE. I don't care what you know, how big and buff you are, it really doesn't matter. It really doesn't. Someone tries to grab you from behind? Let's them, then SING. (Miss Congeniality with Sandra Bullock.) Elbow to the solar plexus, stomp on their instep, then other elbow to their nose, then a swift kick to the groin. SING. Solar plexus, instep, nose, groin. Another is either elbow to kidney, and if they try to get on top, move your legs and wrap them around their waist and squeeze. They'll run out of breath before you do. (See Goldeneye if you need a visual.) Can't help you from creepy vampires. But, mace probably hurts them too. 🤷🏽‍♀️ When all else fails or you want the night to take a more fun turn for you, act insane. Screaming about the second coming of Christ, or Satan, whatever, start hissing and chanting like you're casting a spell and always laugh. The creepiest laugh you can, screaming about God, Satan, "casting spells", whatever crazy is your weapon, add rapid and intense emotional switching. Screaming in rage one second to hysterical laughter in the next that loops into more screaming. It's your life on the line, so don't worry about pomp and circumstance here. Bodily fluids? Let em fly, friends. Ladies, literally anything you use for your period becomes a bioweapon. (I personally have never done this, but I have seen it done. Very effective.) Gross, some of it, sure. But I'd rather go home and shower off than whatever humans think they can do to me. I'm not saying I've won every fight, no, not at all. But momma raised a mean b*tch who will always go down swinging. Stay safe, folks. ✌️

I wish my wife would listen to the stories. Shes has a stalker story. An abusive ex saga. I try to get her to write them down. I've heard enough people say it was cathartic for them. Heck her the therapist she used to see said to do the same. She never pays attention to her surroundings. She recently took a weekend trip by herself. I told her to take her knuckle dusters, but now they were too illegal. Im like its all about where you have them if you're caught with them. If you're a lone female I feel like a cop would understand the circumstances for protection. So I gave her a good pocket knife. Explained the blade was for slashing/ cutting, if she had to stab a creeper in a reststop it'd be ok to leave it. Let an officer retrieve it. Ladies and gents, please always be aware of your surroundings. Driving, walking, whatever. Listen to your instincts. Flight is fine, if fight is your option, fight for your life, go for the eyes, nose, throat, groin. Where ever you know it'll hurt them enough to make them stop trying to get you. Normally I keep my .45 for being on guard on road trips. But she wouldn't take a fire arm. But I still feel situational awareness is crucial. Also don't be afraid to call 911. If your scared there's may be a legit reason. All I can say is that everyone is valued and loved by someone even if they don't think they are. Try to avoid putting yourself in sketchy situations. I feel like I'm just repeating myself. So I'll stop just know we're all here for some reason. I just turned 40. I still don't know mine. Some learn earlier. Take care yall and watch yourselves out there.

I carry.... always have. And you're right, a cop will understand! I traveled by myself for work, everyday, all day. I was in different states all the time!! I sat down & spoke to a Louisiana highway officer one day & asked him about me carrying roscoe. He asked where I was from & I told him. He said "oh yeah, you can definitely have your weapon. Just have the clip out of it, unless you need it. Otherwise you're good". There are states that if you are xx miles from home or carrying xx in money or merchandise, you don't need your CCL. But it's better to have it, be used to it, be familiar with it & know how to use it!! I'm glad you try to protect your wife & make her aware of how to protect herself!! And yes, I can confirm writing these situations down are cathartic!!
@Msj10934
@Msj10934 Жыл бұрын
mace is better.... I'm sure you mean good... but you haven't considered how personal engaging someone with a knife or "brass knuckles" can be... conceal carry is better than a knife, but not everyone is comfortable handling a weapon like that... Mace is non lethal and easy to deploy... Not to mention, the possible strength disparity / skill required, recommending manual weapons like that... and by strength disparity, I mean being overpowered and disarmed. Also, some people are not equipped to deal with violence or danger like others.
@bionicmaleficent
@bionicmaleficent Жыл бұрын
@@Msj10934 I agree, be comfortable with what you carry... but know the risks. You speak of mace being the better option. But if you live where there's wind (or any kind of bad weather), it's coming back on you & size disparity no longer exists. Same is true for knives & "brass knuckles". You have to be in close range & have the upper hand somehow if the assailant is larger when you carry almost any weapon!! I've taken Tai Kwon Do, Aikido & some praying mantis Kung Fu... However, unless you're really skilled & practiced, they do no better than the knife or mace!! Being permanently disabled from a car wreck has left some with no other options, regardless if we like "violence". But I can guarantee, speaking as a 5'0", 115lb female, I'll take my roscoe any day over all other options. P.s. you do realize that "regular" people who take the CCL class are only required to hit the target. Not be precise, not have a perfect grouping, just hit the target. So even most won't hit anyone in a time of duress, but the sound alone may be enough to scare them off. "Never bring a knife to a gun fight".

Same. I would’ve cowered on someone’s front porch, stood on a fence, anything but stay where a psycho in a car could easily hit me. I guess in the moment sometimes you panic but I’d be banging on doors asking for help or finding a tree to climb, something. I’m trying to envision where this was where the person was so exposed yet also able to walk home from a gym. Regardless, whoever drove that car has a special place in hell.

If that person was jumping over fences and running through yards how were they still somewhere a car could hit them?

My question too. How did they get so exposed a car could run them down? Why not stand on a porch or climb a fence into a backyard? Guy isn’t crazy enough to plow through a home to get to you, I would hope. I have questions. But maybe it was panic in the moment and they didn’t stay behind something so the car got them.

I used to jog to work, I worked the Graveyard at LAX for 15 years, never had a problem, then again I was a gym rat back then and was into MMA, sometimes I see homeless people, but they usually kept to themselves, only problem I ever had was a stray dog but I did carry an Escrima stick with me whenever I ran so the dog wasn't a real problem. An Escrima stick is about 20inches used in Filipino martial arts which I've practiced for over 40 years now.

sadly America is a lawless country, people don't fear the police anymore or the consequences... I made a good decision to move to Germany in 2018 . I feel safe here, every hour of the night here and nobody touches you try that in America at 3AM

Story 5. Right from the beginning he says his mom should've cared more. Dude she worked 4 jobs. She obviously spent her paycheck to take care of him. He said she had just bought him a new video game. She also hired an attorney once he was in trouble. She was not working to support some type of chemical dependency either or else he would've said so. She sounded like a pretty decent mom who unfortunately had to work 4 jobs. He was 15. Old enough to have responsibility and freedom, his mom trusted him. He was initially approached on his way home from school. Middle of the afternoon. Not like he was out roaming the streets at 2am while his mom was at work thinking her son was home in bed. He's the one who accepted the offer and kept his mouth shut about the threats. Once again, he was 15. Not 9 or 10. Even when it was all said and done and he's now a man, he still doesn't feel like he was to blame. Smdh. Sounds more spoiled rotten than pitiful and neglected.

FYI off the jump, I promise this is not a paid ad. As a rare true crime who is promoting factor.. factor fr helped not only me but my boss and best friend exceed our fitness goals. We work in nightlife so it’s hard to maintain a proper meal balance. 100% better than the raw meal kits
