8 way Beginner head down

This debrief is from a beginner introduction to bigways head down camp at Skydive ramblers. Not everything that happened on this jump is covered on this debrief. I will list important focus point of the dive bellow, if you have any questions or remarks please leave them in comments and I will do my best to answer them.
The focus of this camp was to introduce head down flyers that were used to jumping in groups of up to 4 freeflyers to bigger way formations. The main focus of the dive was about flying levels, the slot and then docking. What you will notice in this video is some people carving around the formation to get to their slot or over shooting stopping, you really want to avoid/not do this as it is very dangerous and can cause collisions resulting in injury or death. This is unfortunately tho quite a common occurrence when learning to fly in larger group Formations.
The best way to approach is to not come from above the formation (ie toward the sky from the direction of the legs) but to fly on level or slightly half a body length bellow it then approach in a direct line. You will notice when people approach close then carve around to their slot their is the chance that they may collide with another flyer as their focus is on the formation not on the people that are also on the dive. As stated above this can be extremely dangerous.
Break off is also extremely important, because these guys are beginner to intermediate flyers not all where able going to dock every time and were working on various other skills that they personally needed to focus on, so making sure to do a 180 and track is extremely important, not just during these types of training jumps, but on all vertical jumps. 1, because you can see the other flyers that might not of made it to the formation in front of you but 2, because you can see the cameraman (if there was one) and can avoid them during the track of as well.
