I'm was so encouraged when you mentioned your mistake in gluing the blessed-thankful-grateful sentiments upside down. It seems like I make a mistake somewhere on every card, and it can be discouraging! But I agree...the best thing to do is persevere and adapt the design to make it work. Thanks for sharing!

Jennifer I have watched you for years. You never cease to amaze me!!! Sooooo why haven’t you developed a die that is “ deep dish” and cuts 3 layers at one time? You only need the detailed die shape on top of your layers.. right😀? You would still have to glue them but cutting 3 at a time would be a great timesaver. I think all the companies you represent would have the technology for this! Just a thought on this early morning utube viewing.. knowing full well I need to do yard work not make a Jennifer McGuire card🤣. That will happen when the snow flies. Again thanks for keeping me inspired and shopping for all the cool gadgets!!!

Oh my stars, Jennifer these cards are fabulous!! I have to be honest, I am an invalid and art on a wide tray table on wheels that spans the width of my bed ... you would not believe how many of those small die cuts I end up wearing !!! 😂😂😂 But, seeing how you use those small trays to hold the bits is pure brilliance and I clearly could use some too. Thank you for every detail you include - it matters and is so worth those extra minutes you share! ❤️👏🏻😘

Thanks, Jennifer! Now I know what else to do when I get into a crafting slump. So far, I've been cutting through my scraps to make up a bunch of diecuts to have on hand to use later. I store them in snack sized ziplock bags in a clear shoebox. But, that box is getting pretty darn full! And I need to start chomping up more scraps! Win win win!
@marywilliams52623 жыл бұрын
You may know this but you can cut fabric with your paper dies. There is a quilting style where they take tiny colorful pieces of fabric and fill a shape like a big unicorn or heart. It is a raw edge applique and the back of the fabric has HeatnBond attached so you cut it and then peel away the paper and iron the little fabric piece down. When the "shape" is full the maker then quilts on top to keep all the pieces attached even though they have been ironed down with the HeatnBond. I think you can even use fabric on your cards with this method. I think it is called "collage quilting" or something but the small dies are great for this!
