8 Week Old Mini Dachshund Puppy's First Bath

We gave our 8 week old miniature dachshund, Remi, his first bath. He was a bit nervous at first, but relaxed towards the end and was a very happy and clean dog after! We used Aesop's animal wash that we also use for our other dachshund, which smells so good because of the lemon rind in the ingredients. We dried him off with a dachshund themed towel that Daniel's Mum gave to us also, very cute!

Used to dry my sausage dog with warm air from a hair dryer after getting most f the water off with a towel. I’d turn him into a sausage burrito with the towel.

Dachsies love warm air! First time of the year when the furnace kicks on, they’re on it. They run right over to the vent and nap there.😀

@@RemitheMiniDachshund not realy mine does the same standing up to get out 😅 but you don't need to bath all the time the hair is short they clean ther self make sure you get dry or fresh fish for the shining coat i did not see much when my was smal love it tapsing around got the littel girl in 🇬🇧 i am working in germany 🇩🇪 miss her

Good dog Remi. Wasn't he quite the laid-back kid. : - ) Don't mini-dachshunds have the most soulful eyes. That was a nice wee video, especially when he was released from the towel and able to play with his friend and mentor Mia ( forgive me if I got her name wrong ) I wish you rainbows little family.

I get my new baby dachshund in 4 weeks. Her name is Willow. The breeder sends us videos every few days which makes us feel confident we got scammed on our first try. Heard that happens quite often.
