I grew up with doxies. Love 'em!! They are so sweet and cuddly and aim to please. I found mine were easy to housebreak and great members of the family!

My dachshunds just get to use the kitchen sink... not a fancy shower. LOL. But every dachshund I know of seems to love the toweling down after.

You even make bath time so fun--usually dogs hate it, I dont know why, but he seems ok with it. How do you clean the ears?

Thanks for watching, Julia! We were surprised how easy going he was with baths as well :) So far, we've only been using slightly damp cotton balls. If you have any other tips or recommendations, we'd love to hear them!

Qué tranquilo en su primer baño, es muy importante.....de cachorros yo los metía en una cubetita con el agua hasta su lomo de manera que no sintiera frío, hasta el final su cabecita y cuidando sus ojos....ya mayores se puede prescindir de la palangana, pero siempre en un lugar cerrado que no les dé la corriente, son muy valientes, los Dachshund, hermosa raza !!!
