Watching you scare the dog made me laugh. I was hunting from the ground years ago when a cat came sneaking through. I was just about ready to leave when I heard it coming. I let it get really close then I barked at it. It jumped about 3 feet in the air, made a 180, and the legs were full speed before it hit the ground. That totally made my day. Dad and I still laugh about it to this day.

Congrats on an awesome buck. I thought you were gonna wait for him to walk out of those bushes, and then take the shot. It can be a rough tracking job when the arrow sticks in them. You went where I would have gone, down to water. Glad it worked out and you were able to recover him. You guys put in a tremendous amount of work, but that makes the success so much sweeter.

I shot a buck this past season in that same spot, high ribs angling forward. He walked off with the arrow sticking out so I left and returned 4 hours later. No blood without an exit wound, but eventually found him 300 yards away. If the broadhead gets into the chest cavity, you have a chance. Congrats to Drew!

I had almost the exact experience October 5th of this year. Made a good shot on a buck but didn’t get great penetration. Walked through a massive thick area that he ran to with no blood. Just my broken off arrow 10 yards from where I hit him. Circled the area and found him lying on the 4 wheeler path. Felt extremely lucky

When I had cancer and was going through chemotherapy, a company from kalkaska Michigan let us come to their deer ranch and harvest a buck. Kind of like they make a wish hunt. You guys should see if you can get into that type of thing. Shot my first eight point at deer tracks ranch in kalkaska Michigan thanks to a sponsor and deer tracks ranch. So if you guys want to do something with a subscriber I think you should do something like that. It brought me so much Joy and just for that weekend made me forget I was sick. That was 20 years ago so obviously I made it through. it (the hunt) was a blast and something I'll never forget.
